really? even the bloody skoda dealer told me it has a DMF. Just to show they have no clue what they sell sometimes.

Identical to you, noise, movement etc!! i replaced the lower mount as well and didn't do much. so it's the top engine mount/s? can't seem to find the original ones on ebay. I'm worried i'll order the wrong part.

so i signed that the fix was done, but i never filled anything prior or told them verbally. They did give me a 2 year warranty on the EGR and injectors. Obviously if serviced by Skoda or dealers that use genuine parts. catch 22 as i was planning to service it myself going forward. Now it means I have to pay £100+ every time and £340 for a major service to have it done properlly so i can cover my ass in case an EGR or injector goes bust because of the fix... Also if they admit no changes in the performance, consumption etc why haven't they done it in the first place???

yes of course and who has to upload them on to the ECU? The dealer won't do it as I asked Skoda UK CS team and they said no. Like most people I'm just an average joe, i don't have the techno or skills to do such things.

it is noticeable in all gears but more in higher ones. I think it's the DMF as it makes a grinding noise when in gear rolling down hill not accelerating. Only 56k and it's already having expensive issues :(

to all people reading this, DON'T DO IT! it takes torque off your car at low revs and it runs injectors at 100% pressure at all times. In some cases EGR and injectors are gone within days. I had my update done without even asking for it when i went to the dealer to get an injector replaced. The update it's irreversible (as in the dealer won't do it). Now the car is sluggish and a bit noisier.

Hello everyone, I couldn't find a topic related to my issue so here I go. My car gives a "kick"whenever i'm in a higher gear starting from 3rd. It almost feels like then engine is moving/wobbling when I slightly and gently touch the throttle initially. I replaced the lower engine mount but that doesn't seem to have changed much. I wonder if the top ones are gone. I try and push the engine with my hand but no easy movements happen. It seems really stiff. It's a 1.6 TDI with 56 000 miles. Thanks
