It looks like there has just been an update - mine came with ECE 2016 but it's now changed to ECE 1 2016/2017. Also shows the next update now being in November, so might be worth checking the working of the current download for yours?

Boot has some differences - so wouldn't like to say for sure that the glass is the same...... Is the window the same if you've got the glass roof?

With a different boot is the rear window going to be the same?

Exactly. For most cars can pick up a set for £65, but £130 for the spaceback. Would snap up a set at £65, but kinda begrudge paying over double.

There really isn't that much to be sent through, just some fine print - you'll have all the stuff you've paid for on your sales invoice so there isn't any question about what you're entitled too. Only thing that might be helpful is the skoda assist phone number - 0800 526 625 - if you need them just quote your reg. Happy motoring

Not sure how long 'a little while' is, but we got 2 invoices for the 2 year service pack before getting a little pamphlet through the other day. The Skoda assist came through within a month - just a card from the AA. Didn't have any extended warranty.

Mine made me do a 'big reveal' from under a stained green car cover in the middle of the dealership. Apparently I didn't look impressed.

I'm on the hunt for some fitted screens for the Rapid Spaceback and struggling! I've done a forum search and that's thrown up a few companies but having contacted them they don't do anything for the spaceback. I've found one site (but can't find it again today) but that was all in German and not totally sure it was for the Spaceback. Anyone got some?

Erm, thanks.... That is where I found the information telling me that it was due for an update in May, and were that information changed to June. My question is is this normal, is stuff often delayed or are they normally pretty good with map updates.

I've got my first Skoda and when I first got it I looked to check I had the most up-to-date maps for the the head unit, I did and I noticed it said that they were due to be updated in May. Just had a quick look and it now says due for an update in June. Are they normally pretty good with updates or is it a bit hit-and-miss for the maps?

But it's the only way to quote, controlled conditions. Media using the figures, again only way to compare - test drive one in summer one in winter, different reporters etc. So many variables that the information would be worthless. Fine, the test could be more 'real world' - but it is currently made up of a series of acceleration and breaking with min/max speeds. As others have said, non-standard tests would result in probably higher figures.

Hmm, mine is on PCP - at handover they said that it didn't need dealer service for the warrante but never mentioned anything for the PCP

What does the front look like from outside? I've mounted to the side of the mirror to keep it all as discrete as possible - view is a little off centre but even the Mrs didn't notice it and she knew I'd fitted it

Quick update - faulty unit that needs replacing as the focus it out. Apart from that it's been great - nice and simple, no screen to distract or make it obvious what it is.

The figures are calculated over a 6.8 mile lab test. The test is set by government agencies to benchmark between cars, 'real world' will always differ as everyone drives differentlay but no car manufacturer can set different mpg test for their car. What they (and all manufacturers) publish is just the resul of a standard test. Helps you compare cars, but really doesn't give you a real world view of what to expect.

Nothing in the settings - it's lacking somewhat here! Not even an option to add the speed into the video or change any res/rate settings. Have reached out to Thinkware for some help as something is clearly wrong!
