I have looked. And did so again but either my phone isn't loading pictures for some reason or I keep skipping the particular page. Do you know Philpix what page it is on?
Otherwise if someone has a picture already taken and has the time to upload I would be very grateful.

Would someone mind putting up a picture of wind/rain deflectors on new superb, I'm thinking of getting them but not if they take away from the look of the car (too wide or protruding). Do them come in different shades, ie dark tinted or clear?

All of the orders that have been cancelled but with the cars built and probably already in the country waiting for despatch will now be sold from main dealers. So someone here whose car was cancelled on him/her will probably find that 'their' car is on sale in the next few days/week. Start making phone calls!

My was also on fixed servicing but I changed it straight away (4 miles on the clock).
Would someone mind explaining this to me? I assume fixed servicing is for example every 10,000 miles. Why would someone change it to variable/flexible or extended servicing? Pros and cons please...

I'm getting the L&K too and I plan on debadging it and removing the badges on the side too, because for me, I can't be seen to be driving one. What's inside and under the hood is important. Not what people see. Too many nosey family members would come sniffing...

The reason I was asking is that if I buy the car in UK which is in mph I can export it to Ireland which is kph. Cars are cheaper, even with currency conversions, to buy in UK and the spec is usually higher. It costs €94 to select the rear wiper as a extra on the Irish L&K and I believe it's free in the UK.

VCDS not needed. All measurement units (speed/distance/consumption/volume) can be individually switched in the infotainment's CAR menu.

Can the odometer be changed from miles to kilometres and back like in the Honda civics? Can this be done by VCDS?

You can see self leveling suspension in German pricelist but it excludes l&k or dcc option as far as I understand.

How does the superb MkIII handle towing on the suspension? I had to replace octavia hatchback springs with the estate springs. Getting L&K soon and ordering the integrated towbar. Did the back of the car go down much when towing?

Sorry, just to clarify, I won't be using a L&K as a farming vehicle !!!! Twin axle Trailer is used just during the summer for moving bits of small machinery or stocking up on fuel for the winter

I currently own a 2009 1.9tdi Octavia hatch with aftermarket fixed towbar. I had to replace the rear springs in it with those from an Octavia estate because when the trailer was on with a load on it, the car was too low to the ground and the towbar might catch the ground in unfamiliar back roads (farming jobs).
This stiffened it a bit and it is much better since.
I have the 190 L&K in mind with the integrated towbar and other extras. Ordering it next month. Buying it straight, not leasing.
My question is, with the different driving modes available, and with absolutely no knowledge of what the modes really do with the suspension, do the different modes raise/lower the height of the car any bit that it would affect/improve towing a trailer?

New to the group and hope to get the L&K ordered next month.
Can someone please tell me what VCDS is all about and the benefits of getting it done?
Does it activate things that the car has but that Skoda don't want you to know about or what's the actual story with it? Pardon my ignorance. In trying to learn as much as I can before ordering it.

It's a private purchase outright and it's my intention to keep it for probably give years. Children under ten years so won't have cash in near future to replace it so I plan on getting it right this time round. Currently have a 2009 Octavia 105bhp elegance.

I'm ordering the Superb III L&K 190bhp for January '17 so still have loads of time to place the order and dream about it. I'm fully aware that the L&K is already loaded, but.... Are there any extras worth getting, you know, extra? I'm getting the integrated towbar and front heated winscreen along with crew airbags for the family. I'll only tow maybe 10 times a year. Would anyone suggest a different sound system than what comes in the L&K or different wheels for smoother ride?
