  1. Thanks, misting has been reported over the past two services but told nothing to worry about, this time described as more of a leak than misting but still not a mot failure, I do get some noise going over potholes and speed bumps, whether it’s these shocks I’m not sure.
  2. I have a 2016 L and K superb mk3 2.0l petrol estate with DCC, my local Škoda dealer has advised me to change the front shocks as they are starting to leak, they have been misting for a couple of years but I’m told it has worsened, passed the mot this time but I’d like to change them for peace of mind. My dealer quoted nearly £1300 to supply and fit which seems stupidly expensive to me. I've read that the Monroe C2516S is the OEM part for my car, can someone confirm this is correct? I can purchase a pair from Autodoc for approx £200, the Škoda dealership said they will fit them labour only for just over £300 if I supply the parts which of course they will not offer any guarantee or warranty (fair enough I guess) I was asked “ do they come as a kit with the additional bolts”. I haven’t a clue as I don’t know one end of a spanner from another! Can anyone help? Also if I buy a pair, is there a dedicated left and right or are they same both sides?
