going through the persons posts of witch i brought the rns510 off he had the rear cameras activated so hopefully as i now it was not set back to factory settings the rear camera should still be activated (FINGERS CROSSED ) IS THERE ANYWAY OF CHECKING (sorry brain dead today )

i new that but my local dealer had already changed the switch before i got back down to them without telling me so i was stuffed couldnt prove it eater way (blade skoda bristol )

Before when I took the glove box out I didn't disconnect the battery. Then when I put the glove box back together and reconnected the air bag light wouldn't go out. I ended up going to the local skoda garage and they charged me for a new glo box switch and air bag reset. so you can understand my concern when it comes anything to do with airbags,

hear we go, if i disconnect the cars battery , 1/ how long do i need to wait before the airbags are safe to remove and dose this include the glove box switch 2/ wheel the airbag warning light still come on when i reconnect , 3/ wheel it turn off as i drive up the road

I all ready have a tailgate camera on the boot release witch goes to the front of the car but it has the yellow jack plug and positive live and trigger live from the reversing light . so I would probably be better off getting the kuatec kit and try and find someone to do the v c d s,

I would hav thought by the time you pay the postage it would be about the same price as a skoda dealer

I was looking at thekufatec interface as I have a rear trunk boot opener with camera but the more I read the instructions the more confused I get. (Must be a age thing) would I need v c d s to set up???

If I add the reversing camera on to the Columbus RNS510 dose it not show the parking sensors as well,

Ok so it will need dsg oil change

This why I'm a bit confused cars in for cambelt/ water pump next week at blade skoda il have to get them to check it,

Ok lim now confused my car is a 2011 octavia vrs cr . When I do a google search it says it's a 7 speed gearbox and doesn't need a oil change as it's a sealed unit,

Cambelt & water pump every 4years or x number of miles
