  4. I just did mine last weekend. As above, just go through where the rear wash wipe pipe goes through, behind the glove box. I managed to get a 10mm cable through with just a little opening out of the hole with a file. Even managed to use the same grommit.

  12. Got my Sony CDX-F7700. Its awesome. a vast improvement over my old kenwood unit. Next question is......where have you guys gone through the bulkhead from the engine bay with your power cables?

  14. surely the amount of chips depends where you drive? Anyway i've done 1500 miles in my red furby vrs, and have a couple of chips, but nothing of any concern. I've coated my bodywork with a wax called Silver Seal which is supposed to protect the paintwork for 3 years. Probably not from stonechips though.

  16. Thats really strange cos I had completely the opposite. On the old site I had to log in every time and it just wouldnt remember my details. I tried allsorts. Now tho Im logged in every time I visit. PC's.....Cant live with em, cant live without em.

  19. OK, so I was still a little confused, so I went out and measured them. The fronts as standard on my VRS are 13cm, which is 5,1/4" in old money. The rears are 4" old money, which is 10cm in new money.
  20. I was thinking along the same lines Des. BUT when I put my old Kenwood player in it looked the biz, and sounded better, so now I'm looking at getting a new headunit to replace my old Kenwood. Seen a nice Sony one, CDX-F7500, or something like that.
