  1. 205s seem to wear quicker on the edges & that was premium brands as well, uniroyals good all rounder at 215, or Goodyear efficient grip
  2. I could not have done the majority of this below without the help of Briskoda members and now the car is a dream to drive and is a 'Stage 1' car now. This may be useful for beginners of 'customizing' a MK2 VRS (there are still good ones out there - even 6 year old CAVES) Also Moving this to projects as easier to reference back to, nicknamed 'Green Monster' by one of my work colleagues when I first bought it 4 years ago on 8500miles. First mod I do on any car is speakers to the rear parcel shelf. A firm called Racetech did this for me back in 2012. Fast Forward 4 years to 2016 another 28,000 miles, and around 50 Litres of Castrol Edge, Yep my Cave was an oil burner. Having waited just long enough for a solution at SKODA / VW, but with warranty and bloom payment pending I plunged on the final known solution which was the CAVD Sirocco Oil Jets,Breather Pipe, Intake Manifold fixes.....rather than trading in. So a 2010 CAVE Engine uprated to CAVE+ by Skoda at my expense. Nov 2016: Time for some Interior Lighting upgrades and the some brighter H7 headlights: In Dec 2016 : Had Milltek Cat Back, Denso Spark plugs, DV+ Valve T9355 fitted by ADE Tuning in Darwen, with custom map taking the VRS from 173.9BHP to 193.4BHP. Also had the rear 25KG weights removed. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/pv-117194-denso-spark-plug-skj20cr-a8-single-plug.aspx http://www.millteksport.com/exhaust.products.cfm?variantid=370 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271626207749?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&clk_rvr_id=1146271507146&afsrc=1&rmvSB=true Caves as Standard are 177BHP this is lower than the newer CTHE, but considering the age of the car very happy with result. Todays Mod a HFI 1.4 Carbon Cold Air Intake not seen many of these but is another option for an intake kit that fits neatly into the cold air intake and behind the standard battery. An alternative to the ITG maxogen https://www.hg-motorsport.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p27631_VAG-1-4-TSI-Skoda-Fabia-RS-HFI-Carbon-Cold-Air-Intake-Kit.html I reckon this has got me to 200BHP and a further dyno run in the new year shall confirm. Wishlist for 2017, Improve Handling! Upgrade Brakes, Front Tyres to be changed to 215's, Now as standard SKODA tell me I have sports suspension at the rear, but not the front! This was an option for whoever purchased the factory car before me, so need some help with this. Would the 2 mods below be a noticeable improvement. Also can anyone clarify SPORTS SUSPENSION. The rear does feel good, the front feels soft and spongy. Would also like to lower the car slightly with the mods below, many thanks for reading: So Its Coilovers Or Eibach Lowering springs https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-brand/st-suspension/st-suspension-st-x-coilovers-skoda-fabia-5j/ http://www.skodaparts.com/product/fabia-eibach-lowering-springs-vrs-hatch-2010-2013-50425 Anti Roll bar, is this good on its own or better with coilovers? https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-brand/h-r/h-r-rear-anti-roll-bar-25mm/
