  1. Hello, Nice car. It seems normal to change specs in between ordering en delivery, I've heard that before and it is stated in the small letters in your contract that that could occur. I've also read some typical small problems with the Superb on the Dutch forum, I'm curious if you'll have any of them.
  2. The BBS SV are also available in ET38, but those would have been protruding outside the wheel cases.
  3. Correct. Mine is ET47, his is ET 50, so not a lot more to the inside, apart from the difference in width of the rim.
  4. BBS CH 18x8 don't need much spacer. My BBS 19x8,5 need no spacers at all in the front and 10mm at each side in the back at the most. And these wheels are just half an inch wider.
  5. Norway and The Netherlands are not so different after all. The only thing is though, if I would mount my license plates with Velcro, they would be gone in under 5 minutes here. We have to use rivets, screws aren't secure enough. So I guess Norway still is a better country to live in.
  6. I had some LEDs put in by the dealer, but most people get them through the internet and put them in themselves. For example these are LEDs for the backup lights, they really are bright: http://www.csl-tuning.at/d2013/CSL00220
  7. You're welcome BGB. That price is about what you would pay in The Netherlands for a Scout like that. Skoda is supposed to be a budget car here, but really isn't anymore. I have the top trim 1.8 tsi combi, style, and all but one options and some accessories, with a special Business package, where the importer offers options in a discount package which gives up to a few thousand Euro's advantage. But in spite of that it still costs €48K. On the base price of this trim, which is € 33260 (so without extra options but with the Business package) the taxes alone, consisting of VAT and a car tax called BPM, are a whopping total of € 12.046 ! And in the €15K options I have there is ofcourse tax as well, so over 36% of the total price would be taxes. So lets work a little harder for the man
  8. Hi Bugele, post some pictures when you have taken delivery please.
  9. There are little to no Scouts in The Netherlands. Guess there is no market for it, flat and seldom snow. Also the Scout is very expensive compared to other trims of the Octavia, when you want to have the same level of options. So, very refreshing to see such a nice topic about the Scout. Thank you, very interesting.
  10. Winter and summer wheels :notme: 19" BBS SV Titanium 8,5J ET47 with 235/35 R19 30 mm drop No spacers
  11. Hi there, I thought it would be appropriate to do a short introduction before scavaging the topics here. I am a 45 yr young male from The Netherlands, residing near Rotterdam. Coming Januari first thing I'll be receiving my first Skoda Octavia 3 Combi. It is a 1.8 TSI 7DSG Style Business (not sure if you have the same types, but it is the highest trim) which I have had altered a little bit, at least the work is now in progress. For now just cosmetically, but if all works out, I'll see if the engine's potential can be brought to life...... I call it The Blue Shark, that is kind of a long story which I might tell later. It is quite personal. I'm already a member of the Dutch Skoda Forum, but there is a lot of stuff on this forum that is not on the Dutch. Besides that, I like going international, the internet makes that possible so why not. I suspect some of my fellow members of the Dutch forum are active here too. It could be my English is not impeccable at times, please excuse me, I'm not a native speaker of the English language. For now I'll add a picture of my O3, which isn't finished yet, but just for the impression. I'll also state the options and accessories for whom it may concern. Options & Accessories: Bi Xenon headlights with AFS functionality / Canton Soundsystem / Diffuse LED interior lighting / KESSY / Dimming, heated and retractable side mirrors / LED DRL / MaxiDOT color display / Columbus navigation with 8" touchscreen and WiFi / Parkpilot automatic parking system / Color Race Blue / Panoramic roof / Sport seats / Flat bottomed sports steering wheel with gearshift paddles / ACC with front assist / High beam assistant / traffic sign recognition / double flooring in the booth including separating luggage net / Sunset tinted rear windows / heated seats, front and back seats / heated wind shield / DAB / Driving Mode Assistant / electric tailgate / front side windows tinted / 19" BBS SV titanium rims with 235/35 R19 tyres / red calipers / Eibach 30 mm lowering / detachable towbar / leather upholstery in titanium grey with blue leather accents RS design, dark grey rear on the front seats and on the side of the head rests and arm rest, blue stitching and a custom logo at all 4 seats / sport pedals including foot rest (GTI style) / black grille / black mirror caps / black RS roof rails / black logos / blackened chrome window frame / no type names / rubber mat in the booth.
