  1. Hi all, I'm in the process of purchasing a new Kodiaq. I provided my local dealer with the specification I wanted including options and he's provided a quote based on that. As I understand it the current lead time for a factory build is about 17 / 18 weeks which puts delivery around Mid-November. So... being impatient I am toying with the idea of buying one of the cars which is already in stock as long as the spec of the stock car is close to what I am looking for. I do have some show-stopper options I really want but I am prepared to be flexible with the other options on the list (Pan roof being a show stopper for example). I've been told that discounts would be more readily available on stock cars as the dealers have these on credit and therefore need to move these as quickly as possible but I'd appreciate others views on this. many thanks rob
  2. Ok thanks guys. I was just concerned that the dealer was trying to add something that I couldn't account for. Yes this is a PCP and I'm off to see the dealer on Saturday. I've made it quite clear that the quote he has provided me is a starter for 10. I also have received there quotes today which are in the region of £3.5K - £4K cheaper than my local dealer has initially offered so I'm expecting to come in under his quote very quickly after we sit down to discuss.
  3. @abaday789 - you could be right. I did spec quite a few options including Pan Roof so that might explain to figure. I've also noted your fallout avatar
  4. Hi all, In the process of getting quotes from dealers for a new 190 tdi SE L 7 seat 4x4 DSG. I questioned the dealer regarding the line in the quote called "Add Charges" to which I was told this is the Interest payable on the amount of credit. This is listed as £4818.72 but the interest on the balance is actually £1,727.19. (balance * 4.9% APR) Can any of you shed some light on what "Add Charges" actually is?? many thanks Rob
  5. So on the way down the M3 today car started hesitating and almost "burping". Glow Plug light came on and started to flash. Car went into limp home mode. Restarted car and it was ok for about 1 min before it went back into limp mode. Exhaust warning light then came on. Anyway managed to get home ok. Called Skoda assistance and they had a chap out to us within the hour. He read the error codes and it clearly showed an issue with the boost sensor. On inspection it looks like mine has the "old" version of the sensor. Apparently there is a newer version which has a # in the part number. Assistance chap did have any sensors in his van so has organised a return visit on monday to replace the sensor. Just waiting for a call from them to arrange a hire car. overall very pleased with the service
  6. yeah actually starting to agree with you chap.
  7. Actually I am just looking for options. the current lance simply doesn't seem to produce any kind of decent foam so I'm looking at other options that don't involve binning it and getting another one.
  8. Ah not to worry chap. that's why i'm looking for a way of connecting the snowfoam lance to the karcher.
  9. Hi Gizom... so I have the standard K2 lance which came with the unit which I purchased last year. If you are asking about the snowfoam lance that my mrs purchased its here : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B019FD1344/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  10. HI all, My Mrs kindly purchased a snowfoam lance/bottle combination for me but it's one that connects to a garden hose (via Hozelock). However I want to connect it to my Karcher K2 so that I can get more pressure and hopefully better foam. Has anyone converted the outlet on a karcher so it connects to a regular hozelock connection and if so.. how??
  11. Would someone kindly send me the latest amundsen software? I'm currently on hardware 041 and software 0435. thanks very much
