Thank you gav_is_con, maybe a little way out but worth noting thank you. -
I had the same thing, I found that the air vents were making a lot of creaking (in my case) noises when cold, its interesting that when you think you know where the noise is its in a completely different area! . I have sprayed all the vents (where it rest against the dash) with a spray grease and know more noise. In fact I use spray grease for any creak and rattle and it works a treat.

Window Open Help Needed URGENT!
Lucchese replied to Lucchese's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Yep, it appears to be a power thing as the speaker does not work or mirror in that door, although no other window works either! -
All my windows have stopped working however the drivers window is open and I am unable to close it. Is there a way I can manually close it for tonight? Thank you

Thanks for that, I thought I could just get the rubber but it appears not. Will ring Skoda next week

Any idea where I can get these from? I am missing one side from the boot lid. The number inside read EPDM59 but does not appear to relate to anything

Boot noise - full of crockery!!
Lucchese replied to Lucchese's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Turned out to be rear off side spring. All done at local garage for £90 all in and all is nice and quiet again. Thank you -
Hi can anyone help. My boot sounds like it is full of crockery! Every time I hit a bump I get this load sound as though I have loads of plates stacked. I have removed the tyre and anything else that may make a noise. I wedged the boot lid and put some cloth over the stops yet this has not helped. It has only just started and rather quite sudden! Any ideas? Thank you

Thank you, there just is some confusion some state the PY21W and others the RY10W. I guess ill have to have a look :-) Thank you

Can someone confirm the rear indicator bulbs required on a 2013 pre-face lift Combi? If I search it comes up with P21W and/or RY10W, will they both fit? Thank you

Well I had a local garage change the DSG inline thermostat today and.......it worked!! (or it has so far will be on a longer run tomorrow so I will update) but so far so good. From cold it took around 10 minutes for the gauge to reach 90 and it did not move, outside temp 6.5. Oh and the cost..... a very reasonable £68.
-
DEL8OY I see you have changed your DSG Thermostat did you do this yourself?
-
Thank you, I will look at replacing the DSG Thermostat first.
-
Thank you Teacake I am going to discuss with the garage this week. Do you know if this was showing as a fault when plugged in to the computer. Question is will either the DSG or the other thermostat be picked up as a fault?
-
Hi Teacake this sound like my issue, did you change the DSG thermostat yourself or a garage? If a garage I hope you don’t mind me asking how much did they charge?
-
Thats good news thank you
-
Thanks for your response, do i need to change it ASAP or a week or so be ok? Are there any other symptoms caused by the faulty thermostat on the DSG?

I noticed today on my way back from a family break in Wales that my engine temp was really low. I drove all the way from north wales to Leicester with a 1 hour break and the temp gauge was sitting around 70 degrees. Is this right? My 170 Superb normally takes sometime to heat up, it can take over 15 minutes to reach 90 however it will normally stay there. Today though it never got to 90 in fact I thought it was going down when sitting around 70 mph raising a little when I came off the mway but still only 80 degrees. any ideas and should I be concerned?
