  1. I can say that for every day use, the 60 suffices down to the way the engine is designed anyway. You'll never see the full 60 horsepower anyway. Especially since you can be in 5th gear by 30. As a matter of fact you'll only get 60 horsepower at 5000 rpm which is when the VVT shuts off. The 75 gets the VVT all the way to to redline. So you'll only notice the power difference if you belt down the country lanes on the regular (like I do)

  2. I need a little bit of assistance when it comes to removing the plastic covers which go over the top mounts for the shocks. i'm wondering how i can remove them.

This is the piece for reference.

  3. DSG wouldn't be an option I'm afraid. VW worked out that the clutch and box assembly, if mated to the 1.0, would make the whole package too wide for the engine bay. Maybe they're not making ASGs to give us a VRS. I don't think I've seen an ASG up! facelift either tbh. At least not in the vw dealerships.

  4. Dealer only i'm afraid since they have to physically code the key to the immobiliser (and remove any lost keys from it). I think i paid just over 100 quid to get a new key, you'd need to take both keys to get it done, that's what i was told.
