  1. I would like to get a replacement piggy back holder that does sit lower and does not provide such a tight fit If such a thing exists, apparently Halfords only fit there hardwire kits to certain cars, not sure if the Yeti Is on the list or not.
  2. Yes hard wired mine In using a piggy back fuse Its a bit of a tight squeeze to get the fuse box cover back on, theres a small gap as the top edge of the piggy back fuse does not fit far enough down to allow the cover to seat properly.Has anyone else had this problem I used a complete hard wire kit for nextbase dash cams from Halfords.Maybe there are piggy back fuse holders out there that do not protrude quiet so far that would solve this problem.
  3. I got some from a local car shop one of those fast fit type places that always find a job that need doing if you take your car in for something minor not sure what its called but they where a quid for six screws the heads were a bit smaller but they were philips not torque and they did the job. PS not that I would take my car there you understand.
  4. OOps sorry rick just read the other post asking the same question!
  5. When you say amazing stuff Rick are you talking about armorall sealant or silicone I presume its armoral and yes your right It does appear to be good but there must be better stuff about all the OCD detailing guys say all armoral stuff Is garbage.
  6. Seems like a very good idea to have the plastic coating or overpanel reason I asked is i recently treated one sill panel with armorall sealant purely to see If It would make the sill area easier to clean, however I am not sure its a good idea to use the paint sealants on plastic It may cause them to discolour after any amount of reapplication.Certainly beads water well after treating but the jury Is still out as to wether or not the crud comes off easier or not.
  7. Take more water with It Mally
  8. What are the Yeti sills coated with ?the black sill area feels quite plasticy as If Its got some sort of plastic coating on It anyone know what the finish used Is?
  9. HI liking your cleaning regime and looking at using a similar approach but all this modern stuff is a little baffling ,I would like to use a sealant on my paint work but I am worried that I might need to strip the wax off before using a sealant then I could wax on top of that job done. Did you just go ahead and use the purity x on your car as It came from the dealer.
  10. Sorry GreenlineIIEstate I am guilty of not reading your post correctly of course you are right the Plate manufacturer Is legally bound to display Its details on the plate. Please accept my apology.
  11. Past caring about plates It will soon be tea time and I am expecting a healthy bite.
  12. Graham If your at a loose end might I suggest fishing Its meant to be relaxing and might even be easier to get a bite than seeking one from your fellow members
  13. It depends where you live and where you park your car each to their own!
