Resurrecting this thread as someone has reached out to me via PM with the same cruise control problem and wanted to know if I'd been able to resolve the issue - for the benefit of everyone else, I can confirm that since the GRA fix was applied in February 2022, the issue has never reoccurred! 👍
  2. Just wanted to provide an update as it seems that my cruise control issue has been solved. Attached is a photo of what would happen when the cruise control was unavailable. Didn't matter if I had been driving for a while or was just starting the car for the first time that day - it was very random. Sometimes cycling the ignition would clear the problem, sometimes it would not. Took the car in for its first service last week and asked them to look at the issue - they have applied an update to the GRA/Cruise Control System and the issue hasn't reoccurred since. Apparently it is now a known issue with a known fix - I'll keep you updated!
  3. Just to update - a friend of mine printed the component that Soussi linked to - it works perfectly! I started with the 40mm version which seems a little bit too high, so I'll try the others to get the perfect fit. Very pleased!

  5. I don't think this is correct? You'll find the dimmer setting somewhere in the infotainment menus, I think. I also have the same complaint regarding the armrest - at the moment, I'm using an old glasses case in the storage bin to keep it propped up, but perhaps there is a mechanism that can be retrofitted. I might end up getting a friend to 3D print a shim for me - just need to find the right angle first.
  6. The dealer also went down this route - unfortunately, it doesn't seem to match with my experiences. The car will sometimes do this directly after a long journey (for example, driving on the motorway for 1hr+, stop for fuel, start car again and cruise control disabled). The dealer has also fully charged the battery before testing and it happens again. When they've had it on test, they haven't been able to detect a problem with the battery or the alternator etc. It has been fine in recent weeks, but occasionally it'll flare up. I'm still waiting to hear back from the dealer to see what the next stage is - in fact, this is a good reminder to give them a call to see what's going on!
  7. As far as I am aware, the temperature on the dashboard display will always be the outdoor temperature. I also have manual air-conditioning on my Scala, and that's how it works for me...
  8. The outside temperature should be displayed on the multi-functional display in the dashboard.
  9. Update: after multiple trips to the dealer, and a software update, it seems that the root cause of the problem hasn't yet been identified. Now waiting to hear what the next steps are... Has anybody else experienced this Cruise Control fault?
  10. No problem! I've got the 1.0 DSG which is extremely smooth, although it's taking some getting used to. Perfect for gliding around town, and is much more composed on the motorway compared to the Fabia. I did test drive a 1.0 manual SE last year (before lockdown) and was impressed - the gearbox was very smooth and the car pulls relatively well. I'm missing the fuel economy from the Fabia (would regularly return 58+ MPG on the motorway), but otherwise I'm very happy.
  11. Some additional thoughts after a few more miles: The heating in the car is exceptional. The car seems to warm up extremely quickly in a way that my Fabia never did. The DSG is still taking some getting used to. I have found that the gearbox feels quite sluggish in low-speed corners where you need to accelerate away (e.g. roundabouts) - kicking the box into "S" mode on entry and then back into "D" once established in a straight line on exit seems to improve things. The LED headlights are superb.
  12. Purely subjective, as you say, but: I find the seats more comfortable than the Fabia (I had a 2017 SE L until very recently). The adjustable lumbar support is spot on, and the armrest seems more substantial. I've done a few long journeys since I collected my Scala and have no complaints. Driving a bigger car is taking some getting used to (you can't just throw it in to the corners!), but overall I'm very happy with my purchase. I went for the Scala SE - I didn't think that the additional equipment on the SE L was "must have", and the thick sidewalls on the 16" seem to smooth out the ride. Happy to answer any other questions you might have!
  13. I am based in the UK - I ordered my car in September 2020, it was built in early January 2021 and I collected it at the very end of January.
  14. You may need to be more specific... When did you order your car? Do you have a build week? Has the car already been built?
  15. I think the 110 is the newer model (at least mine is a 110, built in early January). Other than that, I believe the cars are the same. I don't think you can get the 115 anymore (unless it's in stock somewhere). I find that I the equipment on the SE is more than enough - just depends what you're after, I suppose.
