  1. Mine would do that occasionally and was frustrating when you needed to know your way I am not sure what they did exactly …..adapted address 19. …..pulled the fuse? But so far so good Let me know how you get on
  2. Update So dealership got back to me following a reply from Skoda and asked me to bring the car in for a warranty repair Well just got back from the dealership and Laura is talking to me again with sat nav directions Skoda report states no fault found but infotainment system was given a hard reset and adapted address 19 of FES and software 1985 reinstalled Let’s see how long this lasts
  3. Update So I was contacted by the dealership and asked to bring car in again under warranty So just got back from the dealership and Laura is talking to me again with sat nav directions Skoda report states no fault found but infotainment system was given a hard reset and adapted address 19 of FES and software 1985 reinstalled Let’s see how long this lasts

  5. Thanks for the update Will have to wait to see how the dealer gets on with software reinstall Flaky software Notice you also had some issues with playing music from a media stick which I have also encountered Music would play okay then after a week or so it would disappear from the USB stick …..it even managed to download some albums onto my iPhone when it was plugged in for charging Part of my thinks this may have been some of the issue with the software being corrupted in some way?
  6. I have been having issues with Laura ignoring me along with the sat nav not giving verbal commands when in use I have got an appointment with the dealer tomorrow where they plan to reinstall the latest software Not sure this will provide a permanent fix as I had this issue with it previously which following an OTA update resolved itself only for a short period of time Not sure if this in a clash with using CarPlay on my personal phone and having my works phone connected with Bluetooth but the issue is still there when I have no phone in the car Did you get a fix for this ?
  7. Power to the people Beware Skoda are watching on here? My fear as HenPen commented is that the details are still being collected and sold but we cannot see this Big Brother is still watching
  8. So I thought I would have a Quick Look at the drivers score on the app again today It has disappeared on my app!!!! Anyone else this happened to?
  9. Big Brother is watching I don’t mind the application in itself it is who has access to it that bothers me Even opting out of sharing the data being a cynic I don’t believe this data doesn’t find itself in the hands of corporations that could lead to its abuse …….affecting driving premiums for insurance and possibly invalidating warranty claims I agree that paying for the services only to find you can’t use them by being forced to change certain settings is not cricket
  10. Just noticed this on the app and checked my driving score 97 score but issues with speeding OUCH I am a conscientious driver with an advanced license in the UK Like all of us and especially with the new 20mph limits which are more prevalent it is difficult not to sometimes inadvertently creep above the limits This does seem like something that may be used by insurance companies and have heard some of the horror stories by people using black box policies My other concern is with the issues of the infotainment system, some of which are on my sat nav how reliable is this information
  11. UPDATE So took the car in for the first service and asked them to look over the issues advising I was aware some other users on this forum are experiencing the same issues On collecting the car I was advised they have not rectified the issue and info9rmed me this may have to wait and see if this is resolved with another update but they have issued a report to Skoda They did note on the service report that the issue may be due to the hard wired Dashcam that is wired into the fusebox, enquiring if the problem occurred prior to its fitting I did advise that the issue occurred both before the dashcam fitting and re-occurred again after the OTA update So will have to wait to see what Skoda advise when replying to the update

  13. I have the car play so I can listen to music - Spotify I used to have my music loaded onto an SD card under the dash in Mk3 & 3.5 but the Mk 4 doesn't have this facility I did try loading onto a USB stick but wasn't impressed with the way it displays and how it has to be accessed
  14. Same issue on mine It did resolve itself after an OTA update but has gone back to the same issues I thought part of the issue was down to having 2 phones connected with one using Apple Carplay and it interfering with some of the features but still happens with no phones in the car Have you found a fix?
  15. Bought my Mk4 VRS diesel in September 2024 thinking all the issues with the Infotainment system were sorted I use my vehicle for work and as such often have to have 2 mobile phones connected - Iphone 13 & Iphone SE One phone is connected by Carplay Wireless (usually) and the works phone by bluetooth I have issues which started a couple of weeks after buying the car where the AI refused to engage and just shows the whirling circle, and also when using the inbuilt Sat Nav which whilst detailing the route refuses to give any audio announcements I prefer wherever possible to use the inbuilt Sat Nav because it displays in the centre of the dash and also will mute when I am on either phone (This isn't possible when on one phone on a call and the other has Waze/Google Maps giving the voice route commands) This issue resolved after an over the air update but after another couple of weeks has gone back to the same issues I have tried the soft reset which didnt resolve anything Any ides guys? Can I update manually to the existing software version which is up to date The car is still under warranty but Skoda dealer advised this is not a warranty issue and I would have to Pay!!!!!!
