Coilovers
Afternoon guys, I'm looking at getting coilovers for my mk2 Octavia vrs estate, I'm liking the look of the prosport as they lower the car minimum 30mm front and rear, has anyone fitted this kit to there car and what are they like? I'm on a budget (Β£250) ish so the prosport is appealing to me! Appreciate any feedback. Thank you guys,

Abs light,
Hi guys, thank you for your advice I will bear this all in mind if I pluck up the courage to do it when the sensor arrives, I don't understand tho why it throws the TPM light on tho? Guess it's just all linked?
-
Abs light,
Good evening everyone, earlier today I had the abs/TC/TPM lights all illuminated on my car's dash, so when I got home I plugged my obd in and I got the code 00290 left rear abs wheel speed sensor so I've ordered a new one (Bosch for Β£17). Just been reading that people have had to replace the hub in some cases, is this a common issue or more likely to just be the sensor does anybody know please? My cars a MK2 Octavia vrs tdi. Thank you guys ππ

Error code P2015 "sensor for intake manifold flap position" fixed with aluminium bracket.
I just googled that number it brings up, air intake manifold flap actuator, I bought the ally bit for my car hoping it would do the trick untill I got a bill for around £600 for a new manifold Inc labour but my car had about 140k on it so was well worth my spending the ££ on him!

Hi mate, I think from memory and what my mechanic said that the repair kit only works on each individual plastic/ ally manifold etc, but I had to have a new manifold in the end anyway as it was cracked

I don't remember ever having a yuasa in any of my cars but the reviews got nearly 5/5, could be worse tho as my misses has a Audi A3 TDI and her battery is Β£260 ISH as it's start/stop same as my sister's antara!

New battery 027 or 096π
Maybe I'm wrong so I'm most probably guessing, but would my car have left Skoda with this size battery as surely you wouldn't down grade to call it that from an 096 to a 027 n have to get the correct battery cover as well?! I hear what your saying mate bout the higher ah etc, why can't it be simple one battery size etc etc!!

New battery 027 or 096π
Hi mate, mines diesel have had the car nearly 8 yes so this will be the second time I will have had to change the battery (027) doesn't make it easy when you can have to sizes! Does it make a lot of difference having the 027 rather than the 096?

New battery 027 or 096π

New battery 027 or 096π
Hi mate, thank you for your reply. Funnily enough that's the Bosch battery I was thinking of buying untill I saw that maybe I should be getting the 096! This battery I currently have has lasted me since aug21 on a 5 year warranty so not to bad I suppose,

New battery 027 or 096π
Evening all, the battery on my fl octy vrs TDI (60) plate I think needs replacing it's been a bit slow starting for the last year or so and earlier today after doing it's Regan it took me 4 attempts to start. The current battery is a Bosch S5 005 027 the issue I have is that various sites say the correct battery is 027 others say 096 or even both. So does it really matter which one I get? The one on the car has been fine but I'm now wondering if it is the right one for my car or not? Any advice would be greatly appreciated π

Error code P2015 "sensor for intake manifold flap position" fixed with aluminium bracket.
Hi mate, my problem in the end turned out to be the manifold so I ended up having to have a new one which I bought online from Skoda ( think it cost me around Β£600 Inc fitting) after turning on my ignition for the 3rd time bought the eml light on so I had to keep on plugging my obd reader to reset it which was a pain in the ass! From memory I don't think it's a difficult job if yours just needs the flap, guy did a video on YouTube on his passet I think but with the same engine as mine (170 cr), hope all that made sense mate!

Dpf issues?
Yeah true that could be a good option mate, il look into it see what I can findπ

Dpf issues?
Hi mate, thank you for Ur reply. AHH ok il see if my mate can scan it at some point sooner rather than later, I know it's expensive to replace the dpf, could have it gutted out but not sure if it's worth the hassle?!

Dpf issues?
Afternoon, I have a MK2 VRS TDI estate, in the last few wks I have noticed that when my car is doing it's regen it's taking a lot longer to do. It used to take around 30-40 miles to complete but now it's taking around 60 miles the car has done 155000 near as and to my knowledge still on original dpf, I'm starting to think maybe the dpf is on the way out? I know it can depend on weather conditions etc as well, I don't tend to drive it in 4th gear at 2500 rpm I just drive it at 60-70mph in 6th which normally works for it. Just wondering if anybody has had same kinda problems at all please?
