Drivers front door handle
Hi guys. My driver's door handle has started to come loose, to tighten it up is it a screw that sits behind a black grommet nearest the inside door rubber? Many thanks

Vrs front grill badge.
Hello guys. I recently replaced the boot emblem and the grill emblem, and have now bought the vrs boot badge and the same for the grill. The boot looks easy enough to do with some dental floss etc but I have heard the grill is a pain in the arse because you can ruin your grill if you get it wrong. Has anyone found an easy/easier way to do this please? Thank you my briskies!

P2015 code😡
Hi mate. My mechanic had to take the fuel lines off and there was a nut on mine that had seized so it took him a bit longer gettin it off, putting it bk on again was quicker so not really a short cut I’m afraid. I was turning my light off every day depending how much I was using the car. I have a bracket if you are local I’m in reading

Error code P2015 "sensor for intake manifold flap position" fixed with aluminium bracket.
This is probably a silly question so your have to excuse me for asking 🤪 but is the gasket the red bit on the manifold that is all ready attached? In the box there is the manifold only no screws etc

Error code P2015 "sensor for intake manifold flap position" fixed with aluminium bracket.
Hello mate. The 2 brackets there are one is for the plastic manifold and the other is for the aluminium one is that correct? Is it worth fitting the bracket I have to my new manifold/ motor just so it prevents issues in the future or would you not bother? I see what you mean with the wear n tear on the motor

P2015 code😡
Yeah some days mine went off like a scolded cat other days felt like it had lost 30hp. I’ve seen the ones you are on about but again I wasn’t sure on the refurb ones as I suppose you never know. Mind you it’s better than the £1000 I was quoted for a new mani and labour!

P2015 code😡
Sounds like one to avoid then mate, better go for Oem. It’s probably why I had noticed some days a slight lack in power perhaps

P2015 code😡
Evening folks. So just an update on the above topic. Earlier my mechanic got my manifold off to attach the bracket which I was hoping to solve the p2015 fault code, unfortunately he showed me that mani has 2 cracks in it so now I am looking at a new one. My question is has anyone had a pattern mani fitted and if so what do u think? Thank u guys👍

P2015 code😡
Ah ok sorted, got somebody doing it hopefully next week so hopefully he can do it that way rather than mani having to come off

P2015 code😡
Just wondering if anyone knows of an easier way to do this having the plastic manifold? Does the manifold have to come off and the fuel lines surely there is a short cut?!😩

P2015 code😡
Hi mate thanks for reply. Dame that’s a pain in the a*** I was hoping it was gonna be the aluminium for obvious reasons. My mechanical skills are ltd so will be a garage job or if anybody who lives in the reading area and fancies earning them self’s a few beer tokens more than welcome!

P2015 code😡
If it’s the plastic manifold I understand u have to take it of to do? If it’s the aluminium one it’s a simple job a few bolts? I will try post a pic Lata of the manifold so hopefully someone can tell me what one I have!

P2015 code😡
I actually had to change my battery in November so unfortunately for me the light does still come on which is annoying to say the least! And knowing my luck mine will have the plastic manifold, a garage last wk wanted upwards of £800 to change the manifold plus labour and wouldn’t hear anything less other than doing that!

Error code P2015 "sensor for intake manifold flap position" fixed with aluminium bracket.
I have the same issue but I’m not sure if my car has the plastic manifold or the aluminium one? My car is a vrs tdi 60 plate if anyone can help I would be grateful.

P2015 code😡
Hi folks.i know this subject has been covered on numerous occasions but my question is does anybody know if my octy vrs tdi 2011 has a plastic manifold or will it be the aluminium one? I have the eml light on with the p2015 fault code and I know there is a bracket you can buy for the plastic arm thingy that brings the light on in the first place, but I’ve been told if my car has the plastic mani then it becomes a harder job for the bracket to be put on in the first place. Sorry my description isn’t the best!

Glow plug light.
Evening guys, hope you all had a nice Xmas. So I hadn’t been out in my car since 14dec as I had a small hand op. Finally yesterday I was able to go out in it all was fine car run fine (10 min round the block) again today I had to go out journey to take no more than 15 mins, again car was running fine then as I approached a roundabout and changed into 3rd gear the car juddered and the glow plug light had came on and the car went into limp mode, so I came to a stop turned the car off and back on and all was ok again. So a while ago I decided to take it down the mway for a good run all in all 45 min round trip and the car didn’t miss a beat, I think it may have needed a dpf regen as the revs had stayed at 1000rpm and after the mway run had returned to 700-800 rpm. So could the glow plug light coming on be down to either the car being sat for around 11 days in all the crap weather and/or it needing a dpf regen?. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Car is an octy vrs estate 60 plate.
