My car is totally crazy. I bought my 2024 octavia mk4 in April of this year, and since then I have had many problems. The most persistent one shows me a fault in the parking system and the PDC is completely canceled until I turn the vehicle off and on again. I have several videos that I have given to my dealer (workshop) about this fault and I have left the car on repeated occasions for periods of up to a full week, and they cannot find the fault. I have written to the Skoda (factory) and still have no solution. A few days ago, it got worse (I attach one video) it showed me a fault in PDC when I was rolling or stopped at a red light and I had no vehicles in front of me. Even when I got home a message appeared to clean the sensors. At that same moment I took the car to the dealership (workshop) and they told me that they would send the information to the factory (videos and DISS report). Hello everyone I have a new Octavia 2024 2.0TDI, I have bought it 4 months ago and I currently have less than 5000km on it. But I have a big problem with my parking system. Many times when I put R (retro) I get a parking system malfunction alert (and the sensors and camera stop working); I have to turn the car off and on again to get it working again. My car has been to the official workshop on several occasions, they have updated the VC, infotainment and PDC software, but the problem continues. I have noticed that every time they clear the faults, the car works fine for about 7 days and then starts to fail again; but once it fails, it becomes continuous and worsens. At this time, my car is currently in the workshops, but they have not yet given me any answer or worse yet, a solution. I would like to know who else this has happened to and if they have been able to solve the problem. I don't know if the type of parking system has an influence, mine is 8 channels (4 front and 4 rear) with a rear camera. Does it happen in all of them? TDI, TFSI, PHEV? with 4k, 8k, 12k PDC? Actually nop.. My problem is in different conditions.. when the weather is sunny or cloudy.. when you are parking, when you put R, when you are going driving normal (on D).. so the problem appear and all parking system gone (camera and parking sensors disappear).. BUT, the problem is sporadic

I had the same problem.. I went a few times to my dealer (my car is brand new) and the last week, the dealer had to update all units and made an adaptation in some units. I think the problem is solved

I bought a brand new Skoda Octavia mk4 2024 2.0 TDI 2 months ago. Since I bought it, the car has some problems, like frozen radio, parking system not available, fault in rear lights.. I take my car to the dealer and they said all are ok.. last week, they updated my infotainment, but this problem continues .. sometimes you can use the car and everything is ok; but sometimes, when you put R the problem appears. Yesterday (Thursday 6) I went to the dealer again and scan all my car and they said everything is ok and they “upgrade” my virtual cockpit and parking system… unfortunately, today the problem appears again. does anybody have any idea about that?? Pd: the fault appears and after a few minutes disappears

You need (make a retrofit) 4 sensors, wiring, module and coding to use intelligent park assist... I wanna make the same (put intelligent PAL) on my new Octavia mk4.. I'm looking for the coding at this time.
