  1. Took about 3 weeks but got my money back and now driving a different car.
  2. I was offered 1 year extended warranty off Skoda. But unfortunately after nearly two and a half years of the car not working properly I decided to call it a day and rejected the car.
  3. Just wondering if anyone has enquired about or received an extended warranty as a goodwill gesture from Skoda for putting up with constant faults in their car? I’ve had problems with my car from day 1 with ACC, infotainment screen, SOS headlights pointing right etc etc.. I’ve had various control units changed and now been driving round for over a month with an engine management light on. The part required might be in at the end of April. I’m into the last 10 months of the 3 year warranty and don’t fancy paying to get things fixed in a car that has never worked properly whilst in warranty. So do I get rid of it before the warranty ends and pass the problems on to someone else or try to get an extended warranty off Skoda for all of the hassle I’ve been through?
  4. I have a Blackvue dual camera hard wired for Parking mode. Can’t remember what 2 fuse points I used but I think they were empty and not used for any of my cars other components. Just remember to put the fuse piggyback in the right way so the power is going through the fuse and then out to the camera if that makes any sense. Fished the rear cable around the drivers side roof liner then through the rubber grommet and mounted camera on Estate window.
  5. I have similar problems. I got the 1896 software update 2 months ago which fixed all of my faults, ACC, headlights etc. All was good until 3 weeks ago. Pop/SOS occurred. ACC problems again, SOS, Stability control ESC, Front assist, Manoeuvre braking, Park distance control, Start/stop, Hill start assist, Lane assist, tyre pressure loss indicator, Electronic parking brake, blank infotainment screen so no radio, reverse camera, voice control, sat nav, temperature settings, heated seats etc…. It’s in the garage on Wednesday to be fixed yet again.
  6. Bought a Blackview DR750x 2CH LTE PLUS whatever that is. Front and back dash cam that comes with a sim card so you can have a live view of your car when someone decides to drive into it when you are not there. Probably easier option is to buy a power supply that slots into the OBD Port so it always gets power to the camera even when you are parked. However probably going to give myself extra work by wiring it into the fuse box.
  7. I think the cars sat nav only displays in the dashboard/cockpit. I always use Waze on the main infotainment screen and charge my phone at the same time off one of the 2 usb c ports under the screen in centre console, or via Bluetooth.
  8. Has anyone fitted a Blackvue dash cam and hardwired it to the fuse box so it stays on when parked.
  9. I’ve only just notice since my software update that Laura got the sack. I now have Larry.
  10. One and a half years later and it’s fixed. Don’t know if the ACC is fixed yet because that only happens randomly.
  11. Did you have to put a login number after entering the new values? Mine is asking for one.
  12. I’ve had my annoying vrs a year now and my Skoda Connect has expired. However the app lets you try it for free or renew for another year. So I have 1 month free. Wonder if this carries on or you can only try it for free once?
  13. No to lights being fixed and no to ACC being fixed.
  14. Aaaahhh.... pure bliss. No more pain from left knee pressing on centre console when driving an automatic. If only the other software issues could be fixed..😃
