Hi all, The rear wiper on my Superb 2016 has suddenly stopped working. It stopped intermittently last week and after stopping the car, locking and unlocking, it briefly started to work. It has now stopped working completely. The washer motor works fine, the blade will not wipe/sweep. Could this be a fuse or is it likely to be the wiper motor? Is the motor a known part to fail and if so does anyone have the part number and best place to purchase one? Thanks in advance

Afternoon all, My farther in law is having issues connecting his iPhone to his Yeti and I hope you can help. When he enters smart link after a second it comes up and shows his iPhone as connected, whenever we select the phone it seems it is looking for it then comes up with, please check whether your mobile device is compatible fours with Smartlink, am I doing something wrong or is the car and/or phone software versions not compatible, if so anyone know what the versions should be???/ Many thanks in advance Regards Tony

Hi, My father in law has a 2016 Yeti and today his NSF wing mirror glass fell out, hard to believe I know. I need to order a replacement, any suggestions where I can get one? he has heated mirror. How are they attached as I can see where any clips would go or any adhesive marks?? Many thanks Tony

Bit the bullet today, had my local VAG specialist replace my AGM battery and coded it in, all sorted. Thanks for all your support and feedback, much appreciated. Regards Tony

@varooom I will enquire about the return cost and if cheap enough purchase the correct battery and get a local specialist to code it in with VCDS. Are the last battery details I sent you correct?

UPDATE: New battery arrived from Tayna batteries today, only ordered it yesterday at 3pm, great service. Question if I totally disconnect the battery will I lose any codes, systems that I will struggle to reconnect when I install the new battery? Should I keep the car connected to another battery/keep car charged while I swap the battery out? Also if I don't code the battery in, will this cause any problems, stop any systems from working, bring up any lights etc? Thanks in advance Tony

Can you or anyone else suggest a reader/program that would be suitable to recode my new battery and any other changes I may wish to make? Hi all, My car Superb 2016 refused to start today with battery low message, its been struggling to start for a few weeks now but always started. It gets used every other day for approx 30 miles each time. Do I need a new battery and if so which one would you recommend? Is it true a new battery needs coding in, or can I just replace it myself? I have a great independent garage I use, if they need to code it in which machine/app will they need? Thanks in advance Tony

Hi Urrell, I am pretty competent to do this but where would I get a connection kit that reduces the voltage from 12v to 5 volts from? Do I need to cut off the power plug and use the bare cables to go across fuse 6? Thanks Tony

Hi, I have just fitted a Mio car camera to my Father In Laws Yeti and found the cigarette lighter is permanently live, which will drain the battery and its a pain to keep unplugging/plugging in. Is there an easy way to put the cigarette lighter on a switched circuit or hardwire the camera to a switched circuit? Thanks in advance Tony

Hi, Trying to set up Android Car Play with the app uploaded and connected via the usb cable. The app won't connect with the usb connection greyed out, wireless and bluetooth won't work. Any ideas how to connect please? Thanks Tony

JR RS, I don't believe the dealer has scanned the car for errors, would I need an ODBEleven device to scan the car? What kind of error codes would I be looking for on which devices? I am hoping someone local to Milton Keynes has a device who can scan for me for beer tokens. Hoping to meet up with Awesam in the near future, he may be able to assist. Thanks as always Tony

Hi Shugmo, I have had the car since new and the problem only became apparent a while after a service?? so not sure why I need to adjust the light adjusters but it seems the only way to solve the issue. Regards Tony

Hi, Thanks for your reply. 3 turns seems excessive to correct a poor headlight range when nothing has changed on the car. I still suspect its a software issue, only noticed the problem a few weeks after a service and code update. Regards Tony

Hi, Update so far. Tried a full anticlockwise turn of the headlight adjusters, couldn't see too much movement when watching the light beam on my garage door, so I need a dark country lane where I can measure the beam length. Alternatively need an OBD 11 to investigate settings or spend £130 quid or Osram light bulbs, can't afford much more expenditure on the car after timing belt, insurance excess, 5 tyres, oil service and MOT. This is proving to be a real pain and a dangerous one at that. Thanks for all your support Tony
