UPDATE: Car now started to switch itself off when driving and saying manually restart engine, bit scary to say the least. Now in with the garage for diagnosis and hopefully repair, fingers crossed.

Hi Binx, it's only about 3 years old, purchased from Tayna. I think the shudder is what's the causing the lights to appear.I will suggest to the garage when it goes in to check the battery. Thanks

Afternoon all, My 2016 Superb started a slight shudder when driving normally and has subsequently got worse. Now when it shudders various dash lights come on, systems say not functions, ACC, Park Assist, Tyre Pressure Warning etc and the car goes into limp mode. Had to pull over, with the car off and then back on to clear the issue. Was infrequent but became regular. Went to my local VAG specialist who checked the fault codes and said the code related to wires down the side of the engine may be causing a short, which he checked and confirmed was ok. Had a really noisy grumbling mass clutch flywheel, has done 128K, garage said could be the speed sensor on the clutch assembly causing issues, so suggested a new clutch pack. New clutch pack fitted this week, but fault remains. Sat idling this week, engine switched off, then back on, did this twice. Car shudder and lights on twice today, cleared by swiping off and on. Suspect a return visit to the garage, but think they may be struggling. Anyone experienced this before, any ideas or suggestions on what may be the cause would be welcomed. Thanks nicknorman, Had similar issue with the rear washer, when I stripped the jet down, both the tube and jet were blocked and needed flushing out. I will see if I can access the bottle and clean the pump and tube. Thanks for your help

Hi, Had my Samsung Galaxy s23 setup with android auto on my 2016 Superb, until recently it won't connect and I get a USB error message. The phone has had a couple of updates, so not sure if the is the cause. Tried new cable, selected transfer files and android auto setting on my phone and still get the USB Error message, any ideas what the issue could be r what to check next. Thank you in advance Tony

Hi, Noticed this week one of my screen jets was very weak on my 2016 Superb Saloon, so took it off and blasted it with air to clean. Then noticed both my screen wash jets are very poor. The water tank is full. Could it be pump blocked, feeder pipe blocked? Is it easy to access the water reservoir and pump and how do I access it? Thank in advance Tony

Hi all, The rear wiper on my Superb 2016 has suddenly stopped working. It stopped intermittently last week and after stopping the car, locking and unlocking, it briefly started to work. It has now stopped working completely. The washer motor works fine, the blade will not wipe/sweep. Could this be a fuse or is it likely to be the wiper motor? Is the motor a known part to fail and if so does anyone have the part number and best place to purchase one? Thanks in advance

Afternoon all, My farther in law is having issues connecting his iPhone to his Yeti and I hope you can help. When he enters smart link after a second it comes up and shows his iPhone as connected, whenever we select the phone it seems it is looking for it then comes up with, please check whether your mobile device is compatible fours with Smartlink, am I doing something wrong or is the car and/or phone software versions not compatible, if so anyone know what the versions should be???/ Many thanks in advance Regards Tony

Hi, My father in law has a 2016 Yeti and today his NSF wing mirror glass fell out, hard to believe I know. I need to order a replacement, any suggestions where I can get one? he has heated mirror. How are they attached as I can see where any clips would go or any adhesive marks?? Many thanks Tony

Bit the bullet today, had my local VAG specialist replace my AGM battery and coded it in, all sorted. Thanks for all your support and feedback, much appreciated. Regards Tony

@varooom I will enquire about the return cost and if cheap enough purchase the correct battery and get a local specialist to code it in with VCDS. Are the last battery details I sent you correct?

UPDATE: New battery arrived from Tayna batteries today, only ordered it yesterday at 3pm, great service. Question if I totally disconnect the battery will I lose any codes, systems that I will struggle to reconnect when I install the new battery? Should I keep the car connected to another battery/keep car charged while I swap the battery out? Also if I don't code the battery in, will this cause any problems, stop any systems from working, bring up any lights etc? Thanks in advance Tony

Hi all, My car Superb 2016 refused to start today with battery low message, its been struggling to start for a few weeks now but always started. It gets used every other day for approx 30 miles each time. Do I need a new battery and if so which one would you recommend? Is it true a new battery needs coding in, or can I just replace it myself? I have a great independent garage I use, if they need to code it in which machine/app will they need? Thanks in advance Tony
