  1. Front ones fitted. Full right hand lock to do right mud flap gives you enough space to do the screws and drill your 6mm hole into the plastic wheel arch liner. Opposite for left hand mud flap.
  2. My only concern at the moment is that the instructions show 2 plastic chassis covers under the car. I only have one. The one under the exhaust is not there. This is what the plastic plug/clip attaches to. So mine is just into the fabric wheel arch liner which seems a bit crap. The whole rear bumper on that side just moved around too much in my opinion. Does anyone have 2 or is it just 1 fitted???
  3. Rear done. 2 x T20 Torx screws to remove and 1x plastic Plug/clip. If you have a small ratchet you should be able to do it easy. I don't. So I just gripped the T20 Torx bit at 90° with a pair of pliers to undo the screw a bit then undo with fingers. No need to take wheel off. Front next when it stops raining.
  4. Mud flaps, rear bumper protector and black Skoda badges to fit tomorrow hopefully.
  5. By the time I actually got the car this afternoon it was dark and persistently raining. I haven't even seen it myself yet. Hopefully the weather is better tomorrow and I'll get some photos. I have some photos when I was getting a Ceramic Coating put on it.
  6. Picked it up today. Lashing rain so haven't had a good look at it yet.
  7. They come with instructions in the pack. Only had a quick look. Basically remove existing screws on wheel arch where mud flap is going then use these to fix the mud flaps on. Think the front need a 6mm hole into the wheel arch liner. Didn't get a chance to fit mine today. Lashing rain all day as soon as I picked up my car.
  8. I will be fitting them to mine tomorrow after I pick it up from the dealers. If I don't like the look of them I can always take them off again.
  9. I'll be doing mine when I collect it on Tuesday.
  10. I'm getting no discount, just price as in brochure and dealer will be selling my old car for around €20-21k. Win win for the dealer. Buying new cars is a mugs game. But I couldn't resist
  11. Rough figures here for example. Bought my car for €30k PCP, trading it in with a different dealer 8 months before end of term. New dealer is offering me €18k on trade in. Settlement figure for finance company what I still owe is €14k. That leaves me with €4K to put down for deposit on new car.
  12. Yes, you can trade it in at any garage. Doesn't even have to be a VAG garage. You also don't have to wait unti the end of your PCP term. You can sell it anytime you want.
  13. Slowly building my car. VRS estate boot mat, rear bumper protector in glossy black, VRS chrome key fob bottom and Monte Carlo badges. 4 weeks until I have the rest of the car to go with them.
  14. Just visited the dealer and saw my car in the flesh for the first time. The wheels are all black as in this picture with no milled silver areas, which I'm happy with. Just 5 more weeks to wait before I can register and drive it!!
  15. Just bought 2 Monte Carlo Black badges, rear bumper protector and rubber boot mat. All 20% off.
  16. Have this on my mk7 Golf as standard and hardly ever use it. When I did go to use it the front camera was faulty and had to be replaced under warranty. It is not as fast as the human eye at detecting oncoming traffic. Optional €231 on new Skoda, hence never picked it, total waste of money.
