Hmmm, the one I saw yesterday I am sure was black but it was a 66 plate so cant be a 245 eh

I am still provisionally on BW16, I see the odd one nr where I live and tell the missus and kids thats what I am getting eventually! Well dont think the ones I saw were 245s, can you get 230s with the same wheels as a 245?

Hmmmm my dealer emailed me to say I now have an unconfirmed BW of week 16. Not sure why but I thought id ask Skoda live chat in the vain hope it might be different. Of course it was the same. Oh well the wait continues....

Which dealer was it? I ordered on october 9th and have been told late april/may but no confirmed build date yet.

After this bit my dealer stated "So at least this does confirm your vehicle will be built. We are still hopeful that this build will come forward, bringing it back in line, or at least closer to, the original forecast of March, however we cannot guarantee it at this stage." I was told I should get a BW at the end of jan or beginning of feb

Just been on the configurator and yep the 245 has gone. But funnily enough you can still apply for finance for one! I had a play with and with all the options I wanted on pcp the best it could do was close on 400 notes compared to just over 200 im going to be paying for my 245

Just had this from my dealer : Production slots for the current OCTAVIA vRS 245 are now full. This model will remain in production until week 26 2018 – however, we need to close factory ordering to guarantee build slots for all existing customer-tagged orders, including those on the wait list. The OCTAVIA vRS 245 will remain on the configurator, and in SLi, to support sales of remaining network stock. Any new factory orders placed from today (Monday 4 December 2017) will be cancelled, as will any demonstrator, stock or showroom orders either on the waitlist or without a build week. OCTAVIA vRS 245 will be removed from the ŠKODA.co.uk website configurator from Monday 4 December. We will bring back a 2.0 TSI 245PS vRS at model year 2019, which will go into production mid-2018. Details will be communicated closer to the time.

Just been talking to skoda on live chat and my order has unconfirmed build of week 14. I mentioned all the rumours of cancelled orders or stopping production and he said "we are no longer taking new orders until mid next year, however, any vehicles already ordered are still being produced".

Thats odd in that my dealer said mine was still on for mid to late march 18. I ordered on October 9th ????

I emailed my dealer and they said my order was accepted by the factory with a delivery date of mid to late march. I ordered on October 9th. They said they had heard nothing about orders being canned or stopping production.

Yeah im going to VT my qashqai early next year in prep for a lease on my 245 in march :-)

I asked the nice lady at the dealer, she said "the vehicles are usually delivered on a single transporter, so there should just be your vehicle to drop off. The drivers are pretty good and can answer most questions, however if there is something particular you need to know or have a question about, and they can’t help, then of course just let me know"

So in the case of a "transporter" it will just be the driver of the said lorry that alright mate, heres your keys, cya! Just be a new experience as I have always picked up from the dealer

Yeah im the same with my current car, I live 10 miles away and turned up and it was in the showroom!

Yeah they said free delivery, coming from Hortons which is in lincoln I think?

Ah ok, just that in the email from Hortons it said "Delivery via transporter to your home address" Transporter means a bloke then!

Query about the magic day when in my case my 245 gets delivered. Does a bloke just turn up at your house with it on a lorry and hand over the keys and that's that?

Does it "supposedly" only do this on the DSG? If so I will never know!

Handy to know. I plan to hand back my qashqai prior to my delivery of my 245

Manual in Red, only option was rear camera. I asked to have my delivered in March to get the new reg
