Think im going to order a DTUK box tomorrow. Anyone know how difficult they are to fit? Ive heard the boost sensor is low down in the engine bay?

I have driven mine a tiny bit and it was ok. Going to attempt the commute this morning. Out of a fwd 245 and a rwd 1 series, i know which car i would rather be in lol. However my partner has a mini countryman All4 so that may be a safer option

I honestly think they have pulled the 245 due to supply and demand. UK has hit its allocated quota of 245s for 2017 and they are falling behind massively. Wouldn't have thought it would be anything more complex than that?

I have a 245. If I had to wait until mid next year, I would have gone elsewhere too be honest. Great car but its a long wait. If you want a Golf R, can your Broker not sort you a deal? Which in turn may save you your admin fee and cancellation charge.

my 120d was doing this. It would hit an imaginary Rev limiter at like 4k revs. Turned the box down and its fine now

Second this. You are better off getting it new as you will get the DTUK warranty and if you have any problems with a used one, DTUK wont come anywhere near you

Dont get me wrong I can hear it when I accelerate, but now that I am used to it, its a bit dull. If it wasn't a lease, an exhaust would be going straight on.

They are very nice cars. Loving mine still. Would I wait until mid of next year for one though? Probably not. I love driving mine but theres just something about it now that I dont like. Im not sure what it is. Maybe its the fact that its too refined in terms of growl etc. With that being said, it is a saloon and not a hot hatch. I do still love it though and am very glad I ordered one!

It will be worth the wait...you wont be disappointed!

Yuo. Mine was week 20 and did move abit. I ended up cancelling as I found a 245 sitting in a dealership down south

By the sounds of other peoples orders, Week 4 is pretty good going! My original order which was made in Mid October, was given a week 20 build date

Agreed. I think they are decent speakers. Im not an audio expert but they dont offend my ears.
