  1. It's just different naming conventions in the UK. For example Steel grey on the continent is called Meteor Grey in the UK.
  2. I'm fairly sure that Lava blue = Petrol blue
  3. That's the £900 the paint option! Seems expensive... but if you want red... what's special about these paints to cost an extra £400? I will probably end up with the Emerald green or Lava Blue although the meteor grey is quite nice...
  4. ...aaand that because I'm an idiot and didn't see the wing mirror... oops sorry! The T-Roc doesn't have auto dimming mirrors either...
  5. Auto dimming mirror is standard on the SEL Tiguan not sure about the Ateca but would expect it to exist!
  6. For those wondering if there's going to be a TSi 1.5 DSG 4x4:
  7. I made the mistake of accidentally using the cloth for balming the leather seats for the windscreen... Doh! Now need to use something fairly aggressive to get rid of the smear! :(
  8. Dynamic Chassis Control is due Q2 too
  9. I suspect that the overhead view will come in the week 22 model year 19 update as with the virtual cockpit and beige alcantara!! The Kodiaq has this (super expensive) and I see no reason why the Karoq won't be getting it either.
  10. I was told by a salesdrone (my brothers terminology) that people who are the target market for the Superb don't like bright colours... Then the Dragon green Superb appeared! Doh!
  11. Each to his own indeed! I for one couldn't live without a pano roof (keeps the inlaws quiet ) and am somewhat annoyed that if I chose the Edition spec that I have to put up with that fingerprint magnet media system Don't mention beige Alcantara either haha...
  12. Whoops! Yes... Those are the larger 19" alloys without the compulsory "Additional body cover on wheel arch and side sill" so it looks wrong! With sills: Also "Visualiser"... you clearly have to pretend your family is in the back! The Yeti Arches are whoopers in comparison!
  13. I'd be curious what the small print says...
  14. I've noticed that some of the colours on the Karoq visualiser are wildly different from reality. Petrol blue for instance: The Karoq blue doesn't even look metallic! I quite like the Emerald green but would definitely need to see it in the flesh before I pass judgement. The flat metoer grey looked really nice on the VRs Octavia... Not sure about it on the Karoq... it's different...
  15. Ironically it looks like the Karoq won't be getting it until next year either. Not on the initial build anyway...
  16. http://www.skoda.co.uk/SiteCollectionDocuments/downloads/brochures/karoq_pricing_specs.pdf This any help?
  17. ...42 weeks and 35000 miles
  18. Karoq gets £1500 by the looks of it.
  19. Turning circle 10.2m! Nice! Yeti has always impressed... hopefully not a typo! http://www.skoda.co.uk/SiteCollectionDocuments/downloads/brochures/karoq_pricing_specs.pdf
  20. Just compared the similarly specced Ateca FR 2.0 TDI 4Drive 150 PS 6-speed manual £28,915 and the Karoq SE L 2.0 TDI 150PS 4x4 £28,350 (inc. Met paint). A proportionally similar price difference occurs when you price out the Xcellence vs Edition models ie Seat more expensive. What Skoda don't seem to be doing is an S spec Karoq (yet!) hence the cheap £18,340 Seat S vs £20,875 Karoq SE. Not entirely sure why folks are saying the Karoq is more expensive! Will be able to price up more accurately tomorrow when/if the configurator gets updated
  21. The below "extras" are what the Karoq SEL has over the 2015 Yeti SEL that I have. Price is hard to compare as the engines are different but it looks like £2k extra for the below. 18" Braga alloy wheels Amundsen satellite navigation with 8" touchscreen display with maps Europe, SD card, voice control and integrated Wi-fi Chrome package Chrome roof rails Colour multifunction trip computer Front and rear parking sensors Full LED headlights with adaptive front light system and LED daytime running lights (Bi Xenon on the Yeti) Infotainment Online 1 year Keyless entry and start/stop LED cornering front fog lights Rear LED lights (high functionality) Rear view camera Smartlink+ It's missing leather seats but it's equally unclear whether the leather seats are an paid option. The Yeti had the choice of leather and Alcantara at no extra cost if my memory serves me correctly.
  22. Having said that I can only see a 1.4 4x4 DSG on any of the VAG sites no 1.5 as of yet!
  23. It is curious how the 1.5 or 2.0 TSi petrol DSG 4x4 is missing off the list of engines. Going by what the Kodiaq is offering now (1.4 and 2.0 TSi) you want to hope that they will be added in the future to the Karoq range of engines... maybe week 22? I would certainly be in the market for the 1.5 petrol DSG 4x4!
  24. Ooh thanks for this! I know it's not final but the prices look similar to a similarly specced Tiguan. Hopefully the smaller offspring Yeti will be cheaper!
  25. That door has the rattle in it and had the window that stuck, so it may be a speaker wire rubbing up against something (clutching at straws here :p )
