The warranty is 3 years, so do you mean 4 year service? The choice of dealer versus non- dealer is a personal one IMHO. If you are going to keep it, then a good indy who you trust is likely to be cheaper and better than a main dealer as you can have sensible conversions about what it really needs. But if you are planning to sell or trade it over the next couple of years then a full dealer history might get you a better sale price or trade in deal. The potential buyer may never have heard of your trusted indy for example.
