  1. OK, so I haven't really read the manual in any detail so... Can you edit the main home screen, I don't really want the sat nav/map displayed all the time. Is there something more useful/interesting that I can put in its place like the list of save radio stations or some general driving data?
  2. I'm dying to floor mine but I've only done 180 miles so far!!! Must resist?????
  3. There's a 19 plate for £23,295 but it doesn't have the bells and whistles like virtual cockpit and Canton. Tempting just for the performance side of things!
  4. If the car in front comes to a stop then so do you. You have to dab the accelerator to get it to start off again, at least on mine you do. It then resumes up to the speed you set prior, or up to the speed of the car in front.
  5. My car didn't show up on any websites/recall checkers over the last year. Took car in for it's first 'inspection' and they applied the 1.5 TSI software update. It's now smooth as butter when cold compare to being a bit jumpy for the first minute or so of cold engine driving. If only I'd rang the dealer and asked before!
  6. And that's too long to not have a remap from a reputable company. Unless I'm missing something? Anyway, I'm looking for a 272 now so not bothered 😁
  7. How long has the 1.5TSI been out now?? and it's still on Revo's development list.
  8. Interesting wheels, what are they?
  9. I wouldn't be without an electric parking brake now that I've had it in my current and previous cars, especially with the DSG box.
  10. Is this correct!?!?!?! From £23K EDIT: Obviously not as I clicked on the button!!
  11. I got well over 50mpg in my Octavia 190 tsi on a long run if you don't venture to far above 70mph. I would expect the Superb to do similar-ish. I think the Superb 190tsi might be next on the cards for me, unless I can get a good deal on a 272.
  12. So, I'm noticing a fan that runs on after the engine is switched off after my 10 minute drive home from work - it's like having a diesel all over again!! I thought a GPF is supposed to work/be effective passively?? Seems not! It must also throw tons of fuel in as I couldn't get the live MPG readout to go above ~20 when driving steady. So, started a journey (~250 miles) and the MPG was woeful for approx half an hour, and then it suddenly shot up much to my relief. Happy bunny in the end, arrived at destination with an average 51.5 MPG (computer readout), this was travelling at between 70 and 80MPH and with the air-con running as it was scorchio outside. So, I'm guessing the GPF doesn't like successive short journeys, or my car is knackered! 🙂
  13. Not much discussion about the 190 on here, it all seems to be 1.4/1.5 and vRS! (sorry I'm not mentioning diesels, my diesel days are well behind me now) Does anyone have one and how are you finding it?? I've got one by the way, Jan 19 190 DSG SEL, and looking for like minded individuals! 😀
