Played an interview on the radio today. He said he was doing 3 different shows a day / night. He had quite a posh voice. Loved him in The Gaffer. Chucking his parking tickets on the back seat.

Just ordered mine. £30.00. Surprised it never came as standard.

I called into my 'local' skoda dealer to arrange a test drive of a spaceback. The demo was filthy and being used by a member of staff, the boot was full of hair straighteners etc. The test drive was cancelled and the dealer never bothered to re arrange. I ended up buying my car from Marshalls. I have also sent them 2 e mails about accessories but have had no relpy. I am happy to name the dealer. Capitol Skoda Newport. I will be taking my servicing elsewhere if this is how they conduct business.

I think there is one for sale in motorpoint, looks great.

I travelled to a few dealers, Newbury but eventually had my Spaceback from Barnstaple. They were very good and the best price in the country for what I wanted. The WSM dealer had some good deals though so you should be ok. I was surprised that local dealers to me were pushed to take £100 of the screen price!

My mother in law told me this week she called into Halfords to have a headlight bulb changed. The boy came out and said 'oh great, its the older model so its an easy job! 5 minutes and £26 later she was on her way. She is 80. whats a bulb from a local motor factor? £4.00 tops. I was absolutely fuming with her. She did say he checked the dipstick and coolant level. You cannot make it up. I usually take car of this sort of thing for her but I was away.

I never understood all the faf about Ed china leaving and people saying they would never watch the programme again. Ant is a far more accomplished engineer with a wider track record. I would suggest getting rid of Mike Brewer and put Edd and Ant together. Then watch the ratings go up. Best car show on telly? Its got to involve Farm Truck.

My wife and I have a disagreement. I would like the Spaceback SE Sport but she hates the panoramic roof. I love the panoramic roof, 17 inch alloys and extended rear glass hatch. Do I 1. Ignore her and get the Sport 2. Go with the flow and get the SE Tech 3. Buy the SE Tech and fit the alloys and the extended glass hatch 4. Trade the wife in (i heard you can trade up or down!) Any views appreciated

Hi. The first Picasso I had from 6 months old and ran it for 11 years. It never let me down and only changed it as it had 150k on it. The 2nd C4 was a great looking car but checking my file I have spent thousands on it. Usual C4 forum stuff like changed fuse box. One strange issue was not getting any gears (egs gearbox). There is a reservoir to the side of the engine filled with actuator fluid. The pipe leaks and citroen charges £30.00 a litre. Fiat / Alpha Romeo do CS Speed which is the same thing for £10.00 from the dealer. That car has been in the garage every couple of months for something. The last straw was a bill for £600 for a new egr so its going. The dealership also charged for 2 diagnostics which I argued about. In the end I said lets settle up the bill and i will walk away from the brand forever, hence the move to Skoda. I am not saying they will be perfect but for me its all about customer service. If the dealer had met me half way i could have considered a new Citroen. Their loss.

Hello, looking to purchase a Rapid Spaceback very soon after finally giving up the Citroens after 15 years. Very impressed with the first impressions, just need to confirm the spec. Cheers
