  1. Hey. The otherday I had a ! On the front parking sensors and an error on dash something like error front park pilot not available. Had a quick check and all clean but one looks like it has bit chipped by a stone or something. Has anyone replaced theirs before. I've done a rear on a superb and and octavia scout before. Just wondering if its easy and what will need removing. Its a SEL no extra bits attached to bumpers that I know of Ta.
  2. Think its that. Sits behind the glovebox. I had to take out the one on my superb when it seized, but managed to get it out without touching the glovebox. Not sure if I can with the kodiaq, seems a bit tighter
  3. Hey everyone. Has anyone removed their heater fan from behind the gloves box before? Mine has an annoying squeek and want to try stop it. Ta
  4. Hey. So about 3 weeks ago, I bought a 2017 2.0 diesel 4x4. If i had the heating on, I lost coolant, but no heating, no loss. It went back to the garage I bought it from and they said there was a loose hose on a recently replaced matrix. Yesterday, had heating on etc and checked it while the engine was slightly warm (about 4 hours later) and was fine, went out this morning and lower than it was last night. Seems to have lost it while parked. Anyone else had similar or an idea what it may be? Ta 🙂
  5. Sorry if this has been asked but I couldn't find it. I have just bought a 2017 Kodiaq and have set upp the My Skoda app, using the free version. Just wondering what would be the benefits of paying for it? Thanks
  6. Picked up a new to me 2017 kodiaq SEL this week. I think it's quarts grey. Pretty sure the sillica bag has burst though 🤦🏼‍♂️
  7. Hey folks. Is the VW candy white the same as Skoda Candy white? I need to touch up some bits on my 2012 scout and can only find VW candy white locally. Ta
  8. Turns out, the brake cables had disconnected from the lever cable holder connector bit. Fidly bit do able
  9. It's been sitting below freezing for the past few days here. Went out to the superb and it was parked with the handbrake off in gear the usual. Went to start it up, pulled on the handbrake and no resistance at all. Foot brake still works fine and drives OK, just no handbrake. It had new pads, disc and calipers to the rear late October/November time and no issues since until now. Anyone experience this? Could the handbrake be frozen off? Or is it likely to be something else?
  10. I believe my 2012 2.0 litre diesel scout is needing a drivers side front brake caliper. I've looked to order one, but there are 2 different ones avaliable. Sightly different in size etc. Does anyone know which fits which car? Thanks 🙂
  11. I just went to move my 2012 superb and when you put it in full lock to the left, just as it gets to the full lock, there is a spring stretch type of sound for less than a second. Nothing when you put in full lock right. No clunk's or bangs when driving (I live down a farm track). Has anyone experienced this?
  12. I have a 2012 Scout. Last week the drivers side washer came out and washed and won't do back in. The passenger side is working fine, both still spraying etc, but drivers side just won't go back. It's 10° outside today and been above freezing all week. So not frozen pipes. Is there an easy fix? All fuses checked etc Thanks in advance
  13. Thanks. It could be, looks that kind of area. I will try get a better picture tomorrow. Its been dark past few days before after work
  14. So since I bought my scout, the passenger side of the front bumper has a slight droop. When wahing the car at the weekend I realised on the passenger side, the bit the arrow points at is straight and not curved luke the driverside. I'm not mechanically minded, so any help on what it's called and if it can be replaced to stop the droop would be amazing 😀 (Photo not mine, taken from Google)
