Hi guys, i purchased a mobridge "oem like" bluetooth kit for the vRS...got it all working and installed on my lunch break, just need Vag Com coding now to get the maxi dot to work. Hard part was getting all the wires behind the stereo as there is not a lot of room for the box and the extra wiring looms...but it all went in...eventually hopefully nothing will overheat lol.... Will get pictures up ASAP of the interface etc

The current polo one fits 100% perfect...slightly smaller looks good

Well its broke again....earliest I can get the car booked in is next Monday

My mfsw has phone buttons on it...but It's just the standard vrs wheel as far as I know. The car was pre built so may have been speced but don't know for sure

Well it seems to have fixed itself now.... :wonder:

Hi guys, the boot is playing up, when you unlock via the remote or via the button on the tail gate it makes a horrible noise as if its trying to release the catch multiple times...sometimes when I shut the boot it just bounces open...any idea whats causing it? Need to ring the dealer 2moro morning :'(

No the standard Swing Unit is just push button

The vrs has mfsw as standard but also an option for mfsw for Bluetooth. The wheels look the same....is it just a software setting that changes the functions?

I think its the one for the Superb, but I could be wrong!! Also what about the columbus, doesnt matter what unit you buy, similar preformance with added navi

You may need coding if the original unit came out of a car with sound system installed or if it came out of a Octavia as they have different eq settings to the fabia I also think there are 2 sizes of unit you need the smaller unit
