  1. Ordered my 2.0 TSI SEL on 7th September, it was built and put on train from the factory to Emden on Fri 16th October. Skoda are estimating a maximum of three to four weeks for delivery to the dealership as there’s a backlog in the docks in Germany and Sheerness to clear.
  2. Your dangerously heading towards Jaaag territory 😂😂 if you go there you have to stop paying for rounds in the pub 😂
  3. Conti’s are a good compromise between grip and comfort but they wear out quicker than other brands. Our current cars have Pirelli and Hankook tyres. Both seem to have a good comfortable ride but not the ultimate in cornering grip, but there lasting well.
  4. Car is being replaced in November (when warranty expires) by another Kodiaq as its PCH runs out then. New car is ordered, so hopefully it behaves till then.
  5. Got the car back this morning. Long list of work that I’m glad was covered under warranty. Both the block and head where warped, new engine fitted and a lot of test running conducted.
  6. Was in dealer to collect our Kodiaq this morning and there was two SEL’s being delivered both had phone chargers according to the service rep as he drove them into storage.
  7. I forgot to add that If the car is still in warranty you can also call Skoda Assist, (it’s included). They can come to home or work and connect a device to the car and see if there is any more information
  8. I’d call the dealer first and see what they say, another option, is to try the skoda customer support help, though be warned that they are either brilliant or useless, depending on who answers the phone.
  9. Wow, that’s helpful! Normally, it gives a brief description of what it’s found. If it doesn’t go away, I’d suggest getting a dealer to check what’s causing it.
  10. Click on the other icon it should give you more details.
  11. Mines working Ok
  12. Then you quietly stop them using oil as fuel and magically their car is turned into a Fiat 500 😊
  13. F1 admin never likes it when any team gets more dominant than the others. All they want is good TV. Can’t blame Liberty after the mega amount they paid I suppose.
  14. As far as I’ve heard no. Might reappear in the forecasted facelift, due sometime.
  15. The Audi or Vw manuals are no better. Luckily the dealer showed me how to find the ‘ramp’ when one of the keys died.
  16. Warranty and PCP contract runs out in November. Original engine is being shipped back to factory for analysis. Initial impressions are that it was a problem in casting of the head or block or both.
  17. New engine on its way from Czech Republic. Hopefully here in ten days. Then two days to put everything back together and test it. Looks like early Oct before it’s back on the road.
  18. Engine was stripped down and the head and blocks found to be warped. Looks like a new engine is on its way.
  19. Dealer has Skoda support helping him investigate further, after finding water in the oil after taking the engine out of the car and removing the head. Gasket was fine, so there now looking at the block. Their feeling is it might be a new engine!
  20. Thanks, don’t rely on European friends giving you correct information, is the answer to that 😊
  21. I still love the way she can’t say Maidenhead. It’s May-hen-denhead 😊
  22. Loan Superb Estate turned up from the dealer last night. Dealer is having fun tracking the route cause down as the car is showing so many faults. There’s miss-fires showing on cylinders one and two, air emission, engine management, stop start and battery faults also coming up.
  23. Walk round of an Enyaq in a Swedish Skoda dealers
  24. Good you fixed it. For a minute there I was thinking it was the sound of the various bits of Skoda washing their hands of problem ownership that I’m currently experiencing 😊
  25. In the handout I have it says 720 litres in the five-seater model, rising to 2,005 litres if you fold the rear seat. The seven-seater Kodiaq is (630 litres with five seats in place), and 270 litres with seven seats in place.
