Hey all, ok not had my Fabia long and know it’s got the usual big front brake conversion. im looking to replace both discs and pads. What Model do I search for? Do I input say Audi TT 2006? Or what? Cheers

Hey all, Out of curiosity, what tire pessure do you folk run with when you have changed your alloys? for say the Octavia alloys.. Do you run wth whats stated in the cars handbook even though the size is a step up (17's)? Cheers.

Trying to get spare key remote central locking working. Tried new key in barrel and old key lock driver door. Press unlock and hear beep then what? Unlock on key in ignition? Or lock button once? Or on door key? Do you get beep telling it's done?

To me, completely weird and feels incorrect. No other car has this. But ok, both yours is the same so will take it as is. Cheers buddy

Wasn't aware of that fact with 709 However that's what I thought, the lid should "hug" the inside of the lid but the lid meeting flush with the edges of the bottom section. However that's 2 filters that doesn't seem to want to play the game...I'll revisit it again when I have more time. Is it worth going for 709?

Hey all, I'm a bit confused....I got shot of the Green filter (On advice from good folk here) and got a Mahle LX708 filter. Now both the green and the new one does the same thing. On the side that doesn't have the screws the filter seems to get sandwiched there instead of the lid closing completely around the filter and being flush with itself ?? (Thus when the lid it locked through the holes and screwed shut I see orange on the non screw side which is the rubber surrounding the filter) Should the lid not sit flush around the whole of the filter and not just 3 sides? If it should sit flush, then I'm a tad puzzled as comparing both filters available (LX708,709) all dimensions are the same, except the 709 is actually taller (Mahle site states 709 to be used in dusty environments)

Tbh, it doesn't really sound any louder than my next door neighbours Fabia, granted it's not a vrs etc but still diesel.

This is the kinda thing that's on mine just now.

Mine had already been this way, straight through middle section a Piper tail pipe. Not really loud quite a nice burble from it. However thinking about going stock middle and twintail box.
