Let's be honest who buys a 4wd, nearly 2 ton, 190bhp auto for high mpg? Mine does anything from 20 to 32 around town, if I'd have wanted mpg I'd have bought a fiesta!

I fitted the black frame & black badge, originals were both broken on removal with no damage to car or front radar. Front of car looks a lot better, but my car is black magic.

I'm no expert but you put foot on break to stop, auto hold kicks in so clutch disengages (does it? I don't know), then you just put handbrake on brake lights go off. It's just a way to turn brake lights off if they bother other's that much when sitting in traffic.

By putting handbrake on while using auto hold in traffic turns break lights off. Easy!

I went down the box route mate, I can use it on my next car or sell it, where as a remap goes stays with the car. I'm happy with the tuning box definitely gives the car more go! Mines poor, anywhere from 22 to 30 around town, 35/38 on a run. Mind you it's 240bhp and I can't help pressing the loud pedal. Other 2.0tsi owners get way more mpg than as you will see. Can't say I bought the car for economy though, if i wanted that I'd have bought 1.0 fiesta!

Totally agree, it's a bit of a sleeper now! It's never going to set the road on fire but it does go well for a big mota. Tuning box & pedal box cost around £600, but both can be transferred to my next vehicle (can this be done with RaceChips?) unlike a remap, which is a big plus! Anyone think of of going down the tuning road I'd say boxes are the way forward, but that's just my personal opinion.

Fitted, as Mr Grump said simple job, 10mins and I was driving. Car picks revs up quicker, yes you can tell the difference. When I get more time I'll have a play with different modes, atm I'm on sport +2 having started at - 3. Having the tuning box I may change the settings on that to find a good pairing.

Just ordered mine, app +, should pair up nicely with my already fitted tuning box from them.

£450 was quoted for an Octavia Scout..... from what I read above? £280 for a Kodiaq
