Blind Spot Detection
I am about to downsize from my excellent Superb to an SEL Karoq. I was disappointed to find that the Karoq has no blind spot detection. Do other owners find this a problem? If so how have they overcome this.

2 weeks in - New owner observations and questions
I find tyre noise depends on road surface. I am just about to change my front tyres after 28000 miles. Pirelli P7. I had a rattle coming from the rear seat catch

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Removed a 12" stick which was stuck in front of the nearside rear wheel and which sounded as if a spring had gone everytime I went over a bump in the road. Sometimes look for the easy solution!! At least it saved me a trip to the main dealer to sort out the intermittent grating noise.

Adaptive Cruise Control
Brettikivi. The rocker switch on the end of the ACC stalk permits changes of 1mph specifica;lly I use it for speed reduction.

Best ever MPG
Just done 660 miles on a full tank with about 40 miles left to empty on a trip to South west Wales. Superb 1.5

Adaptive Cruise Control
I generally like ACC especially on motorways. However occasionally mine has a "mind of its own" e.g I was driving the Carmarthen by pass . Set ACC to 63mph after a few hundred yards the car accelerates to 70 mph. I knock it back to 63 and once again it after a few hundred yards it accelerates back up to 70mph. No road side speed limit sign changes. Any ideas?

Moving forward
Turned all switches off around the gear selector and seems to work again now.

Moving forward
Since my car's service ( 1.5 auto) it no longer moves forward automatically after the car in front moves off e.g. at traffic lights. The garage say they haven't changed any settings or software updates. Any ideas what settings I need to make to get this feature back?

What fuel consumption are you getting please.
1.5 tsi estate. On board computer regularly shows 50+ mpg on a long motorway journey and 30+ around town. Brimming the fuel tank knocks off about 10% from these readings. Is this normal?

Passed its 1st MOT with no problems

Boot rattle
Underthe radar. I had this problem. Can it be adjusted. My fix was to wrap foam rubber around the catch. This has stopped the rattle

Replacement Wipers
I have also just replaced all my wiper blades, after just over two years, with Bosch. Far better performance and a reasonable price from Europarts

Skoda Superb Estate - Advice Required
Very similar to me. My best was nearly 50mpg driving to and from and in the Highlands of Scotland last year.

Skoda Superb Estate - Advice Required
I am more than pleased with the performance of my 1.5 estate. Haven't quite managed 50mpg on a long run

Cruise Control not working
Does ACC have a mind of its own. Occasionally if I have set it for low 60's it will all of a sudden change itself to 70. Also it will show a warning sometimes that I am exceeding the speed limit and wont let me set ACC to a higher speed even though I know it is a 70mph road.

Exhaust
It could well be that the condensation draining out will minimise corrosion

Exhaust
Does the rear exhaust box have a drain hole in it? I have water "leaking" from mine. Not the tail pipe.

Active cylinder management?
Paddywack to paraphrase the song Its not just the car but the way that you drive it!!

Active cylinder management?
I had similar concerns to you but when I had my 1.4 Octavia Estate and realised how quick that was I decided to go back to a Superb 1.5 DSG estate. I have not been disappointed. Plenty of power to overtake safely and achieved 50mpg on a Scotland trip. Averages just under 40 mpg around hilly Sheffield

Picking up my SEL estate tomorrow!
Good choice. I have had mine just over a year. No problems and surprisingly nippy for a big car.
