  1. Stickers were discontinued a few years ago - all the equivalent data is held online. You need to pay to access the Erwin system yourself, but any Skoda dealer (and some independents) should be able to look up the code for you if you supply your VIN number (or in some cases your reg number)
  2. Quite right, I was forgetting the MBR limit. I know the specs allow for higher sizes, but I think you'd have a job finding an SD card bigger than 2TB at present. The last time I looked, the largest on offer was 1TB.
  3. No need for FAT32, exFAT will be fine. It was specifically developed for large SD cards. If you format a large card in Windows Explorer, it will default to exFAT. It has a size limit, but this is 128PB - many orders of magnitude bigger that the largest SD card you can find. We use 128GB cards in both my Octavia (Amundsen) and my wife's Fabia (Swing). The only thing to watch is how you organise the files on the Swing. It seems to have lower memory capacity for holding the metadata indexes (artist, title etc). I like to shuffle-play the whole card on the Amundsen, but I can't do so on the Swing. It seems to be able to handle only the first x tracks it finds below the folder that you select for shuffle. I've seen no published limits, but I stick to about 1000 tracks below any folder where I select shuffle. You may have to experiment with different folder structures.
  4. You need to go back to basics and find out what wheels/tyres are listed in the type-approval for your car. You might not personally be that interested in "approved", but your insurance company may well be. This link will give you access to the relevant data for all Skoda models: https://www.skoda-auto.de/service/serienbereifung Click on the green button labelled "Herunterladen". This will give you a PDF of some 436 pages. To find the section for your car, use the contents listing. Yours will be in a section labelled "Octavia III (5E)" Look for the page that matches the type-approval number in your registration document (eg mine is "e8*2007/46*0318*02", so I need to go to page 259) Look on that page for the block labelled with the engine code and variant from your registration document, (eg mine are DKZA and ACDKZAX0) Find the row that matches your wheel size. If your 18's were factory fitted, they will be 7.5Jx18 As the others have said, you will probably find the right size is 225/40R18
  5. This table tells the story for model years up to 2020 (there's a separate table for later years). Use the engine code (see the sticker at the bottom of the driver's B-pillar) and model year. The QI6 column is for variable service-intervals, the Q1-Q4 column is for fixed. The notes on page 82 are:
  6. From the Skoda wiring diagram: L+ = grey+red L- = grey+brown R+ = white+red R- = white+brown
  7. Stickers were discontinued in late 2017 - most cars had more option codes than would fit anyway. Mine is a standard SEL but has 197 of them! Everything is now online. Equivalent "Vehicle Data" can be downloaded from Skoda Erwin (for a fee). Any Skoda dealer should be able to look things up for you given the Reg No or VIN.
  8. Haven't tried this myself, but this extract from the manual might help.
  9. MySkoda app still works for me and us correct up to my last service and is the only route I've found. However, the app now has a banner saying support withdrawn from 10th December. Separately, I've had an e-mail saying MySkoda and SkodaConnect apps are to be merged from 4th December in the PlayStore. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the new app offers. Other than that, it's probably easiest to get a Skoda dealer to print it out for you.
  10. The boot stickers were discontinued in late 2017. All that data is now held only online . It can be downloaded from Skoda erWin (at a price). These days there are too many PR codes to fit on a sticker anyway - my Octavia runs to 197 of them. As stated above, if you give your reg or VIN to them, any Skoda dealer will be able to look up the paint code and order it for you.
  11. The only way I've found is to use the MySkoda app. The erWin Vehicle Data only shows "Delivery Date" (ie registration date) for me of 02/10/2018, but the MySkoda app shows a "Production date" of 20/08/2018. The Model Year is encoded as the 10th character of the VIN. In my case K=2019, so L=2020, M=2021.
  12. Can't guarantee it, but the erWin PDF of Vehicle Data generally contains many more PR codes than would fit on the old sticker. The PDF for my wife's MY14 Fabia II runs to 8 A4 pages, most of which consists of one line per PR code with descriptions as per those I posted. I doubt that it will solve the pre-treated or non pre-treated question though. I have seen a suggestion elsewhere that this refers to a water-beading surface treatment (like RainX) but I've seen no official explanation.
  13. PR Codes are listed below. Whether you can work out what they actually mean is another matter. Best option is to compare them with the sticker on the boot floor (if you have one) or with the Vehicle Data listed for your VIN on Skoda erWin. 4KC Side and rear windows in heat-insulating glass 4KF Side windows in heat-insulating glass, from B-pillar and rear window dark tinted 8L3 Roof antenna 8L5 Roof antenna and "diversity" window antenna 8L6 "diversity" window antenna 8ZG Antenna for AM/FM reception K8G Hatchback
  14. I had my SEL done last November by Advanced In-Car Technologies in Poole. A very professional job using genuine VAG parts, works perfectly. £650 including VAT. A VRS uses a slightly different set of parts because the front bumper moulding differs, but I shouldn't think the cost will differ much. Facelift and Pre-facelift may also differ. The switch on the tunnel is part of a bank of 5, so you'll need a new bank which also has all the existing switches that your car happens to have. The folks in Poole asked for photos of the car in advance so that they could be sure of ordering the right parts.
  15. Labels were discontinued for cars built after late 2017. The equivalent data is available to you online via Skoda erWin (for a price). However, any Skoda dealer should be able to look up the paint code for you using your reg number or VIN.
