To the op ,chances are your car will start after being stood ,but if you have a smart charger to trickle charge and keep battery topped up then you know all will be good 👍

Same here warrior still on my 8 year old original moll battery too ,now we have said that our batteries will pack in now 😂

I would just stick with what youve got ,my vrs is on 18s but there not not really built for softness being more sporty ,your not going to make 19s any comfier just adding a tiny bit to the side walls ,you would need smaller wheels and larger sidewalls ,which to me would ruin a vrs .

Did you try any of the tips given ,or have you not bothered ,if so has any worked?

Try a spray of furniture polish or wd40 ,but the perfume may have etched into the plastic .

Mine does same ,its annoying when you have just cleaned the windows too 😥,tis the only car ive owned that does this tho.

Just get in touch with a local breaker ,they will give you a price and usually pick it up ,usually depends on the price of scrap per ton what they offer .

as warrior says Check your rear door seals ,pull em from bottom of door ,its usually that you can hear sloshing about ,they do hold a good amount of water if blocked ,i thought it was my fuel tank too ,if it is the doors give them a good wash and clean underneath too .

They were not skoda brand ,but does it really matter with rubber ones ,i went for good quality ones ,the boot one was from a good company and it was edged all the way round 👍

Have you looked on ebay ,i got mine from there octavia vrs ,they were all good quality heavy ones ,the estate boot one is excellent ,takes a few months for the rubbery smell to go tho 😁

The wheel arch is usually double skinned ,so it will need pulling out or a skim of filler ,deffo a body shop if you want it to look right ,diy jobs are nearly always visible and de-value the car.

I drive a 2016 vrs tsi wagon ,and change the oil every 12 months and dont need any top ups inbetween 👍

Body shop i reckon ,a home job will look terrible ,is there a local spray shop near to you to get a price .

If its a hot summer day mine is set to low, in winter mid 20s to high its on 21 at mo as its getting a tad cooler now .

I managed to grow one last year gaz and a squirrel came along bit the head off and buggered off with it🤬

It should just unscrew by hand ,nothing special needed to undo ,yours must be well stuck for some reason.

Came into the garden last night trying to catch a goldfinch ,taken through window with a big lense so a tad grainy ,fantastic to see it tho young male i think .

As gaz says it turns off internal sensors for alarm .

Things do change its progress ,android tv has every app under the sun ,most of them full of crap .

I go in car because thats the right tool for the job ,and thats why i own a car ,but folk who dont own cars and i know plenty get by in life with no problems ,infact ive got a mate who spends his life on trains ,national express and the megabus 👍 ps i like the train or bus graham just incase i get lost in a pub 😁

When were looking a year or two back we went in currys and asked the guy to turn on all the smaller tvs to see which was best picture quality ,before he did he said you will buy the sony bravia haha ,he was right far better pic than the others ,the biggest we could go was 43 inch ,its a sony 4k android tv ,has all the apps and built in chromecast ,sound quality from most flat screens is not fantastic these days tho ,hence soundbars and external speakers being the way now ,bit the sound is good enuff most of the time ,its nice to have soundbar for movies tho .

Dead right ,right tool for job ,when we go into york we always use park and ride ,same with leeds were only 14 miles away but always take the bus and sometimes train on return jouney ,more relaxed than driving and trying to park in a city ,but sometimes the buses can be hit and miss here ,arriva are always short staffed .

I do quiet alot of short runs in my 2.0tsi vrs daily to work and i change my oil and filter every 12 months ,just peace of mind for the sake of 60 pounds .

Have you got screen replacement as part of your car insurance ?
