We've got 2 Monte Carlos in the family and the 14 plate does a needle sweep on ignition start and the 12 plate does not. Could someone guide me to the adaption channel or Bit coding on 17 to enable it on the 12 plate please ? Both have maxi dot clusters, Ta in advance.

Hi, yes this is the one. As Ed's car is red, this is the look he wanted to achieve. Agree with you, the quality is normally very good as I had them on my RS3.

Hi all, One for the part number gurus amongst us.... is the part number for the Vrs rear spoiler the same as the one for the Monte Carlo please ? I only ask as I've bought a Maxton rear tip spoiler for Eds Monte and it seem too narrow to fit ????? It's listed for Vrs , but assumed they are the same Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just been reading 32kofdata build thread and mighty impressed and stunning car. My question is can a Vrs rear beam be fitted to a Monte Carlo ? I only ask as in his thread it references that it is not possible but discs re standard on Vrs and Sport models. Thanks all in advance

All sorted now. plugged the old unit back in and got the long coding from it, then plugged new one back in and coded manually. Then basic settings on G200, G201 and finally G85 and then the lights went out. All that without having to bleed the brakes after splitting the unit 👍. Attached the long code if anyone else needs it in the future.

Hi, I’ve change my ABS control unit as I had no comms with VCDS. Got the new one fitted now and need the long coding please if anyone could help. The car is a 2009 VRS combi tdi. DSG with TPMS. Just wondered if someone could screenshot their long coding for me. many thanks guys chris

Assume it may be for the clutch master cylinder and would give the position of the clutch on a manual.

Interesting one this. I used to work at MK and remember talking to the tech guys there and they showed me a doc showing that Eibach had developed the spring and suspension package specifically for UK blue light services. Should have taken a little more notice of it then me thinks :-)

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has the part numbers for the suspension springs on my 57 plate Scout RRV ? Spoken to Eibach who made the springs initially and they don't do them anymore. I know it would be easy to go back to standard, but I really need the extra lift as we use our Scout for shoots. Sods law states that I have 2 broken springs ...... 1 on the front and 1 on the rear. Thanks in advance for your help
