  1. You can buy brake fluid testers for 4 or 5 quid these days so easy to do yourself
  2. I put 17" alloys on mine with 225/55 R17 MICHELIN Pilot,s because of potholes and it makes a world of difference . You will have to tell your insurance .The tyres and rims must still fall within certain parameters or your speedo will be wrong

I miss my other car for the heated front screen but as my car is parked on my drive by the front door i bought a heater from B&M for £15 and an extension which i plug in the hall and the heater fits perfect on the front arm rest. Ten minute turn on while i have a cup of tea and i,me good to go .

  7. Changed mine due to the terrible roads where i live from 19,s to 17,s rims with 225x55 r17 Michelin Primacy 4 tyres last year and very quiet, very comfortable ride
  8. If your oil has been in the car for 18 months why not put fresh oil in and a new oil filter while your at it ?

  10. As Paws4Thot said clear the drainage holes from the bottom of the doors

I was lucky,with peoples help on here and swatting up on rim J numbers, ET numbers etc etc i got a set of good rims for £150 with 3-4 mm tread depth on the tyres from e bay, sold my original wheels for £350 then spent a few weeks reading reviews and deciding on what tyres i wanted to get. The rims are not as shiny as my originals but when you get older comfort takes second place to looks 😊
  14. I can see what you mean now but unfortunately I cant tell on the Karoq without removing the trim. Sorry I thought you were trying to adjust the lock plate via the 2 bolts in the picture.
  15. When i adjusted another hatchback car i had a few years ago i kept getting in the back and closing the tailgate to see the position of the catch and make adjustments
  16. Why cant you just order a heated screen from Skoda ? , they must sell them to replace chipped or shattered ones , or am i missing something
  17. My Karoq (2019 ) must have been the last before it was dropped then
  18. You do know that the boot light pulls off so it can be used as a torch .

  20. I am 6 foot 3 inches with a bit of a bad back and i have no trouble with height or getting in or out which was one of the reasons i bought the Karoq
  21. Have you checked the number plate light ?
