Hi all, I had this issue and have just installed the microswitch. It is operating normally (i.e. it detects when gear is in P and let me take the key out or not if it isn't) so I assume it working as expected. But I can still see the warning message appearing. Do I need to do anything to reset the warning sign?

I thought I could send the pic over Private but it seems I cant so posting here for @ApertureS to have a look.

Actually I found another post where you clarify it is the handle. I will private message to check if you still have parts

@ApertureS I have a 2017 Skoda Octavia with exactly that issue i.e. I can only open the boot with the key fob but the button isn't working. Are you saying the problem is the button or the actual latch? Do you still have parts available?

Thanks all for your comments. I have decided to also give a ring to a certified garage and asked them what they think. They are kind of in line with what @Scot5 has suggested and so I am waiting until the next service which shod be in December time and at the same time ask them to set the indicators correctly.

Hi, it might be a basic query but I am quite confused with this one. So I bought a Skoda Octavia reg 67 (Sept 2017). It currently has no more than 12,000 miles. I therefore do not expect to have to do any inspection (I understand it as MOT but probably I am wrong?) until Sept 2020. It has a QI6 code in the vehicle data sticker which I think means Variable service intervals. I checked in the car and it says service in 120ish days as well. The car got a service in Dec 2018 with 8,500 miles. Now I am getting an "Inspection in xx days" message. Does anyone know what it means or should do?

Hi there, I have part exchanged my Ford Fiesta 3dr 1.2 ltr for a family car, the Skoda Ocavia estate SE 1.4 DSG. I already have a couple of questions so hopefully this forum will help me get some answers.
