I have since used a regular BDC2 scanner and then a VCDS but the warning isn't showing on either scans! I can still see it in the dashboard and the infotainment. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to rest the dashboard? I didn't want to take it to an official Skoda but would you suggest I do now? This is VCDS scan from yesterday. Hi all, I had this issue and have just installed the microswitch. It is operating normally (i.e. it detects when gear is in P and let me take the key out or not if it isn't) so I assume it working as expected. But I can still see the warning message appearing. Do I need to do anything to reset the warning sign?

I thought I could send the pic over Private but it seems I cant so posting here for @ApertureS to have a look.

@ApertureS I have a 2017 Skoda Octavia with exactly that issue i.e. I can only open the boot with the key fob but the button isn't working. Are you saying the problem is the button or the actual latch? Do you still have parts available?
