Software Quirks
@LER749 Indeed, you have an outdated version of the infotainment system software, I have the same one. Was your car manufactured in 2024?

Petrol TSI 204/265hp questions
@Niksan The 265 HP engine has been present on Audi for several years, and I haven’t heard of any issues. The engine code is DNPB if you need more information. Yes, it is the same engine found in the Octavia 4 FL and Kodiaq 2. Oil consumption in the first 12,000 km is minimal, approximately 100 ml, according to the infotainment display, as the dipstick is no longer present.

Software failure not so Superb
In connection with the new alert sound that activates when the speed limit changes, as mentioned in earlier posts, the sound can be disabled using the attached image. After restarting, the setting remains as saved. And just to be clear, this setting applies to the sound when the speed limit changes, not the sound that occurs when you exceed the legal speed limit. Hope it’s clear!

Driver assist - Front assist (automatic braking) over sensitive
I don’t know if there’s a solution for this at the moment. I’ve experienced it a few times myself, and it’s not very pleasant. You need to be careful at intersections if you try to move in quickly, and in parking lots, you should park slowly, like a beginner, otherwise, you risk a sudden brake. Pay attention to people passing behind the car, even if they are at a considerable distance, and also to various reflections.

Software failure not so Superb
The sound is new, I didn't have it before. Now we have two sounds, what's next? 😂

Software failure not so Superb
Since yesterday, I’ve noticed a new sound/alert in my car. More specifically, whenever the speed limit changes, a beep sounds. This sound didn’t exist until yesterday, and I’m not referring to the beep that plays when you exceed the speed limit. I haven’t been able to find it in the list of assistants yet to see if it can be turned off. It’s annoying, especially in the city, where there are many speed limit changes, to hear yet another beep. The one that played when exceeding the speed limit was enough. And one more new thing, I use CarPlay, and since yesterday, when someone calls me, the car speakers announce the caller’s name, but only once. I don’t know how these two changes appeared. Indeed, I received an OTA update yesterday, but it said it was just an update for the user manual.

2.0TSi 4x4 or 2.0tdi 4x4?
Besides the fact that the brakes are bigger on the 265 engine, the discs are also ventilated on the rear. I recommend this engine, it is fun to drive with enough power. The consumption on the highway at a constant speed of 130 km/h is about 8%.

New Superb 2.0 TSI 265 p.s - some questions and impressions
When was your car manufactured? Ask the dealer if they can find out whether anything has changed in the manufacturing process and if active regeneration has been introduced on gasoline engines.

New Superb 2.0 TSI 265 p.s - some questions and impressions
Until now, I have driven 10,000 km without any issues, except for the DCC noise. I haven’t had any problems with the particulate filter, nor have I seen anyone else experience this issue. I understand that your car is new and that you picked it up just a few days ago. I suggest you go to the dealer to have them check what the problem is. You have a new car, and the particulate filter warning shouldn’t appear.

New Superb 2.0 TSI 265 p.s - some questions and impressions
Strangely enough, I've never experienced or heard of anything like this with gasoline engines. I knew that regeneration was passive.

Order and delivery times for MK4 Superb
@John625 For faster access, you can add Auto Hold to the top bar of the screen (see picture). You can also change the order of the applications according to your preferences.

New Superb 2.0 TSI 265 p.s - some questions and impressions
@DasSkoda I also come from the Octavia 3 2.0 TSI 190ps. 4x4 and I can tell you that there is a big difference between them in almost all areas, comfort, stability, speed, brakes, safety, space, etc.

New Superb 2.0 TSI 265 p.s - some questions and impressions
Unfortunately, it doesn't. Regarding the exhaust pipes, they are double but they are hidden even on the Sportline version. There will definitely be some retrofit kits.

DCC noise
I think everyone has this issue with the DCC, but each person perceives the sound differently, and it largely depends on the type of roads they drive on. For me, it also gets louder or quieter depending on the road condition. What’s strange is that it doesn’t seem to make noise on potholes but rather on wave-like bumps.

Model Year
If the tenth character in the VIN is the letter R, then the model is MY24. If the tenth character in the VIN is the letter S, then the model is MY25.

WiFi Charging
@Yavuzz From what I can tell, your car was manufactured before September, which means you have the old software (2460), just like me. I have a 15PM, and the wireless charging behaves the same for me. It charges for 20-30 minutes, then takes a 5-10 minute break. Regarding the cooling of the charging compartment, I think it’s just marketing. Sometimes I get a message on my phone saying it has overheated, and charging stops until the temperature drops. If it behaves like this in winter, what will we do in summer? As an observation, I’ve noticed that without a case, the phone charges faster and doesn’t heat up as much. Starting with software version 2565, the wireless charging works better and doesn’t have such frequent interruptions.

Model Year
As far as I know, those manufactured starting in September are MY25, but I don't know what the differences are and I don't think you'll find this information.

Software failure not so Superb
Yes, that’s exactly what I was saying: the infotainment software remained the same, and they didn’t update it. I don’t understand why… Cars manufactured from September onwards come with version 2565 or newer, and, as shown in the attached picture, the black screen issue has been resolved.

Software failure not so Superb
Last month, I received a message from the dealer asking me to go to the service center for a software update. I plan to go this month, but I have a question and would like to get more details. I noticed that those who have already gone to the dealer for the update did not get the infotainment system updated. Specifically, they still have version 2460. What bothers me the most is that when I use CarPlay and adjust the climate controls or driving modes, the screen goes black. This issue has been resolved starting with version 2565. My car was manufactured at the end of August, and I’ve driven 9,000 km so far. I’m very satisfied with the car and haven’t had any problems until now. However, a few times, the dashboard assistant lights turned on but quickly went off. In recent days, the Kessy system has been working intermittently. Specifically, the doors lock when I touch the handles, but they don’t unlock. This might be because the car was quite dirty. So, is there anyone with a car manufactured before August who has version 2460 and went to the service center for an update? Did they get upgraded to a newer version?

Cabin noise
I don't know how it compares to the Octavia 4, but compared to the Octavia 3, the Superb 4 is much quieter.

Remote Park Assist
For the past few days, I’ve noticed that the Remote Park Assist option has been added to the Assisted Drive Plus package in the configurator (though I’m not sure if this applies to all countries). I asked my dealer if this option can be activated for vehicles that have already been produced. He informed me that vehicles produced starting from production week 48/2024 will be able to be equipped with Remote Park Assist, and I have not received any information regarding the possibility of activating this feature later on. Please post here if you find any information regarding the activation of Remote Park Assist for already produced vehicles

2024 Kodiaq DCC issue
The same problem is with the Superb 4, the new Passat and Tiguan. For now, I don't know of any official solution to this problem.

Combi 2.0TSI L&K Webasto(engine/interior heating)
@vampii I have 3000 km and I have no problem except for the DCC suspension which is sometimes noisy. I know users who have reached 20,000 km and have had no problems, so don't worry.

Combi 2.0TSI L&K Webasto(engine/interior heating)
I got used to all the assistance systems quickly, they don't bother me. In my opinion, they are much better implemented than other cars, even the speed warning, the sound is very discreet. I have ODB11 and still nothing for Superb 4.
