  1. Yes got the switch in drivers door, hadn't thought about that,
  2. Put a new luggage lamp unit in before I realised the dash warning wasn't working, then I'd unlocked car and just opened tailgate to put something in alarm went off, this lead me to lock mechanism which has a micro switch in it, so I've ordered a new lock unit as all wiring was perfect and no corrosion found. Fingers crossed 🤞
  3. Had 3 weeks done 650 odd miles running sweet as, a fun daily, has been mapped, upgrading discs and pads tommorow, whitline rear arb going in, may change head unit, Forge induction fitted and checking fmic see if it's been upgraded if not I shall then get her on rollers, full service history 2011 reg 56700 miles.
  4. This is head unit in my 2011 fabia vrs combi
  5. When my mob connects to the car or when I turn of ignition car makes a really loud tone, enyway to turn it down?
  6. Thank you sir, oy takes it one is in cider country
  7. Am I right in thinking switch inside tailgate lock is foopard, tailgate locks and unlocks on central locking and opens on handle pad part, but doesn't register open on dash doesn't power up luggage space lamp and if tailgate opened first and no doors opened first sets of alarm, I've looked at it no corrosion etc mint inside tailgate
  8. I can knock up tray out of ali and move battery then use forge front section straight to filter then buy a 90degree bend to suit and a joiner to forge silicon pipe job done, interestingly I think down the front near turbo will be plenty of radiated heat from manifold when in traffic, I may do my own temp tests
  9. Checked there website, not cheap is it 🤪
  10. Was going to put a funk heat sleeve on intake pipe, what's the battery relocation? Kit or just relocate to boot area or move it around
  11. Very interesting thanks buddy, can easily sort that if it shows up
  12. Mine is very good quality and filter looks fine, I bought an mst set up first but was pointless as didn't seal to bonnet and had large gaps around heatsheild so would get heat sink, returned that
  13. I thank you, will need the screw in brake pad tool ha ha
  14. Didn't bother putting on rollers when I got her wanted to make sure all was OK before power runs, there is a possibility she has a stage one map, had many modified cars in my time she's awfully quick if it's standard would make sense if she's running 215 to 225 bhp
  15. I'm playing catch up on my fabia, but all good so far, what were the bad comments on the forge induction
  16. Fitted on my fabia vrs, seams to spin up abit better we shall see when on rollers
  17. As above about to fit upgrade discs and pads alround is rear caliper also handbrake like audi a1 or does it have shoes behind small hub?
  18. I've just bought and armrest of ebay good kit fits nice looks factory £45 took ten mins to fit 😁
  19. New person here, old but still like to give it some welly, who me officer. Wanted a new daily that could accommodate the odd police dog, bits and bobs and not boring so found a fabia vrs combi, excellent. Not to worried about the various problem, had worse built alsorts alot of tuned jap imports so keeping an eye on stuff not a problem, so 3 weeks 600 plus miles nothing fell of or gone pop oil fine, few thi gs I shall improve see how it goes, all best matt
  20. I'm yet another that read up and thought sod it I'll find a good one, 2011 56,000"miles service history dsg has had the work done sticker in boot well, had 3 weeks goes like a scolded cat handles pretty well for an estate, done over 600 miles hasn't used eny oil, looks like its had a new head, will take docs and passport to local main dealer see what's been done and get a print out, enjoying the daft thing as my daily drive to and from work, upgrading brakes discs and pads this weekend and fitted a forge induction which has improved pick up. See how it goes
