  1. I have one of the first generation (white) Pro versions. Best value is to buy the basic version for £40 and activate the Pro package through the app for approx £25, works out cheaper than buying a ready activated Pro version. The newer generation (black) can be used with Ios rather than just Android and will in future be compatible with other brands (think BMW is coming soon) whereas the first gen will only ever work with VW group. I've used it to activate a few nice features on my Superb as well as scan for faults and clear fault codes, overall found it a decent easy to use product.
  2. I don't think that's possible to be honest. The best way I can see to get what you want is to activate the 'Easy Entry' option with VCDS or OBDeleven. I've activated this on mine, slides the seat back a couple of inches when you open the door to exit and slides forward to your saved position when you turn the ignition on. Only takes a few minutes to activate and gives you a tick box on the infotainment screen to turn on and off as required. If you don't have VCDS yourself there is a map here of forum members with one, have a look for someone close to you who might be able to help.
  3. The advantage with using Caramics or similar is you don't need a special wheel cleaner. I just use the same water & shampoo I clean the rest of the car with. The main thing is preparing the wheels properly before applying, give them a good clean, fall out treatment (I use Autoglym Magma) and once applied leave them somewhere dry and dust free to cure. I use Autoglym tyre gel on mine, I find gels always seem to last longer than spray on types. Mind you, at this time of year nothing on the car stays looking clean for long 😣 Haven't tried Autofinesse's tyre dressing but their Citrus Power pre wash is very good (if slightly pricey) as an alternative to snow foam.
  4. I did the same as you, bought mine at 5 months old with 1800 miles and paid £26k which was a fair chunk of a saving on the list price. There are a lot of creature comforts that I'd miss from an L&K in a standard Sportline; no leather, no ventilated seats, no heated rear seats, no heated screen, no heated wheel, no DCC, no blind spot detection, no rear view camera, no smart light assist.......there's so much missing kit it would feel like driving a BMW 😆
  5. There's a 6.3 V8 hiding under all those plastic covers.......honestly 🤥 😅 Looking good 👍 Can recommend Autofinesse caramics as a good product to apply to your summer wheels while they're off the car. https://www.autofinesse.com/en/caramics-wheel-protection-kit
  6. Never liked having the battery exposed, didn't even get the felt top cover with mine, so picked up a lid for it. Bit of a bargain at under £9 delivered on ebay and makes the engine bay look a bit less unfinished. Also changed the halogen bulbs in my rear indicators and reverse lights for Philips Ultinon LEDs after spotting a decent Amazon Warehouse deal. Not the best of pictures but sort of shows the improvement of the LEDs in the nearside lamp over the original halogens in the offside. While going through boxes in the garage also found an unused Osram W5W LED so used that to replace the bulb in the glovebox. Think that was the last halogen bulb left on the car 😆
  7. Found a couple of good deals on Amazon Warehouse Philips Ultinon Amber Intense PY21W for indicators. Philips Ultinon 6000k P21W for reverse. Both plug & play in the Superb, no canbus errors and no need for resistors. Paid £21 for the amber and £17 for the white. Not sure how these ambers compare to the more expensive Philips Extreme Vision recommended in this thread but they're certainly an improvement on the original halogens.
  8. Pre- facelift hatches should come in under £40k list price, my 2019 272 L&K with a couple of options like spare wheel and rear wiper just about squeezed under the £40k so only £150 a year road tax now. The thing I couldn't find on an L&K when I was looking was the virtual cockpit, I guess the cost of optioning this would have pushed a 272 L&K over the £40k.
  9. I'd agree that reversing camera and front sensors are a nice thing to have given the size of the Superb. Both can be retrofitted but probably looking at around £450 for each. Have you looked for a Sportline Plus within your budget? Adds a few nice features like heated seats, electric bootlid, bigger infotainment screen, blind spot detection etc. This is very true, for me the electric bootlid and virtual pedal are things I wouldn't have been fussed about but I'd miss them if I didn't have them now.
  10. Little bit of engine bay tidying up, thanks to @CoverdaleCP for the part and top service 👍 Before & after
  11. https://www.skoda-parts.com/catalog/superb-3/spare-parts/chassis-8.html Have a look through here, they tend to stock most parts and show the part numbers too.
  12. Very unfair stereotype, I'll have you know 97% of all Range Rovers ever made are still on the road.......... ........the other 3% actually made it home. It does 👍
  13. Control Unit 17 (Dashboard) Adaptation Cruise Control Display GRA High in Display change to active.
  14. Original footrest was part number 5Q2 864 778 A Rough measurements 10cm wide narrowing to approx 3.5cm Length of the footrest area (diagonal striped part) approx 28.5cm. If you do go for one there's two L-shaped clips on the back that slot down over metal retainers. On the Superskoda replacement I found the gap on these clips needed to be widened very slightly to make the fitting easier.
  15. Looking at your pictures here the Kodiaq footrest appears to be the same as the Superb, in which case this footrest cover should fit if you were still looking for one. http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-RHD-OEM-footrest-deadpedal-SPORTLINE-version-RHD Fitted one to my Superb, it's slightly narrower than the original but does work.
  16. Can't say for definite but I would think it would be possible. There's various country options in the dashboard controller so one of them may option the large km/h display.
  17. Haven't any experience of Carista personally but know the above method definitely works with VCDS and OBDeleven.
  18. Also managed to activate the fuel refill quantity and cruise control mph display (bottom left of the mfd screen).
  19. I've enabled it on my 2017 1.2 SE Drive using OBDeleven. 17 Dashboard > Long coding > change country version to Australia. Then in MFD display tick the digital speed display option, change the consumption/distance option back to UK mpg and untick the Alternative speed display option.
  20. After changing my coming home/leaving home lights to front fogs rather than dipped beam the dull yellowness of the original fog light bulbs was really noticeable. Swapped today for H8 Osram Cool Blue Intense, much brighter and whiter light than the originals 👍
  21. If you have electric seats it's a quick and simple job to activate via VCDS/OBDeleven.
  22. No problem and thanks again 👍 Will take a more thorough look tomorrow with less tired eyes 😑
  23. Many thanks for that. Just tried it on mine but don't appear to have the option menu_display_drivers_seat under Car_Function_Adaptation_Gen2 unfortunately. Will take another look tomorrow.
  24. Hi SashaGrace, I have the seat comfort access working on mine but don't have the on/off option on my infotainment screen. Is this something I could activate with OBDeleven pro? Thanks.
  25. If you have xenons the lights should change from left hand to right hand traffic automatically using gps when you travel abroad. As mulsoft says above you can change in the infotainment screen as well; Vehicle > Settings > Light > Travel Mode.
