  5. Would it be possible for someone with etka (or similar software) to provide me with the correct part number for the air quality sensors on my 2018 superb please. I can see there are multiple revisions and not sure which one is correct. Vin is TMBDE7NP5J7575222
  6. much appreciated as always :) thankyou
  7. @pab567 my VIN is TMBDE7NP5J7575222 :)
  8. I have the same fault code to. DAB seems ok, however signal strength is patchy in certain areas (but same areas as with a different brand DAB radio in an previous vehicle) @pab567 if I provide you my vin can you advise of the antenna replacement required please?
  9. Excuse the poor picture quality, but this was mine after 48k miles and having 2 haldex services performed in that period at a main dealer.
  10. Hi all, Bit of a random (and maybe pointless) post but just wanted to stop my mind from worrying. I recently had the battery on my 280 changed by halfords. They replaced it with a Yuasa YBX7096 but left one of the red 'bungs' in the positive side vent hole. Looking at the battery itself, it looks like there isnt one present in the negative side of the lid. I cant seem to find/see any sort of vent tube for the battery so I am confused if both vent holes need to be unplugged or just the one. I tried looking at pictures of the old battery (as halfords took it to dispose of) but I cant clearly make out if the positive side of the lid has the bung/plug present. Can anyone advise or check if thier battery has a vent tube fitted and if they have a bung present in the vent hole of the positive side of the battery? I realise this may differ from battery to battery but appreciate any response :) Much appreciated.
  11. The previous owner of my Superb had it maintained by main dealer only, and it had 2 haldex services in this period. Not once was the filter/gauze cleaned, so when I had the first service done I took it to an indy and took photos of the pump...it was in a horrid state. I called the skoda dealer and they basically said as above (its not detailed in the workshop manual) they even refused to clean the filter/gauze with me offering to pay the extra in labour. My advice would be to get it done by a trusted indy who take the pump out and give it a good clean.
  12. BTW part number works at VW, Skoda, Audi and Seat. So if you have a VAG dealer closer than your local Skoda dealer they should still be able to help.
  13. Just near the bonnet catch
  14. My 2018 TSI 280 (CJXA) has a sticker for 504 00/507 00. Recently had a service at a indy and they used 5w30 Castrol Edge LL
  15. Part number changed in sept 2024 to 5Q0121407AA and genuine can now be obtained for just over £20 AKS tuningGenuine VAG Coolant Expansion Tank - No Silicone Packet!...The coolant expansion tank in your vehicle allows additional fluid a place to go after expansion
  16. i THINK they only released a fix for one of the assemblies, but then released for the others. If you look on https://www.akstuning.co.uk/shop/home/1928-genuine-vag-dq200-dq250-dsg-parking-brake-fault-fix-5q0713128a.html they list 4 different types, you need to lift the gear selector surround to find out which type you have.
  17. mine seem a bit weird. Engine off car cold - Flaps open Engine just started and on tick over (just over 1k rpm) flaps closed Engine settles down to tick over (just under 1k rpm) flaps opened This is whilst in 'Normal' or 'Eco' mode. If I run a flap test with VCDS only one opens and closes, however with the above both flaps operate. Flaps enabled in VCDS, so really dont know what is going on. Seems very random.
  18. Hi @pab567 Was just wondering if there is an update available for my unit at all please. It's on a superb MK3 with canton (if that's any difference) Sys info picture attached :) Many thanks for your time :)
  19. All of my windows (front, rear, and side windows) are badged VW AG the same as yours, so unless all of mine have been replaced I would say yours is at least a genuine one
  20. im some cases look at the manufacturer marking. The original fit skoda windscreen will either have VW AG marking or the Skoda badge. If a windscreen has been replaced by a company such as autoglass they 99% of the time wont use an OEM screen, just one which is of equal quality so the branding will be different. Also in some cases you can see small lines on the windscreen (I know this was the case with a mondeo I had with a heated front windscreen)
  21. I just recently purchased a used late 2019 1.5TSI Manual and I am experiencing severe hesitation in 1st and 2nd gear. Its so bad that I actually went to a different dealership and test drove another 1.5TSI and it felt completely different. When trying to pull away its almost like there is no turbo up until around 3k RPM. As explained by other users 1st and 2nd gear seems to have no power at all until around 3k rpm. I spoke to the supplying dealer who knew nothing about the issues mentioned here, also SUK were quite useless (I spoke to around 4 different people who denied knowledge of these issues) The dealer is taking the vehcile back next week to check for updates, but im worried if the fixes were offical updates or were only made available to those who reported issues if that makes sense. Here is my ECU info if anyone could possibly tell me if there are any updates please: Part No SW: 05E 906 018 AT HW: 05E 907 309 H Component: R4 1.5l TFS H20 9640
  22. Sorry I should have said, actuator rod seems to move as it should.
  23. Hi all, Recently purchased a Skoda approved used 2019 Sportline with the 1.5TSI DPCA engine. On test driving I thought it felt quite sluggish, but just put it down to me coming from a Octavia VRS TSI. I recently drove a friends 2022 sportline (also with the 1.5TSI DPCA engine) and it is completely different (both manual) My friends, when you acclerate from 1000RPM the turbo feels to kick in alot sooner and with more punch. Mine, it just feels like there is no turbo up until say 3000RPM, it is also quite kangoroo like at low revs. I have read about software updates, but wanted to see if anyone else on this forums has a 2019 TSI (DPCA) and experienced the same sort of thing I am experiencing? Cheers
