  1. Man, sad to see you give her away but saw this on Facebook, in good hands with Clive though.

Yours is how I want mine to look, in time.

It was not a easy thing to let go at all but the price and the new owner made it feel right .

I have actually forgot more mods than I can remember lol. And it felt like a brand new car. She will be missed ....

  2. £2k for a 180k miles on std trim you will never get mate tbh. I sold mine with mods and got my asking price purely because the new owner wanted it as it was and knowing the car. So as mentioned £2k will be about right for the right buyer. Thinner market than std but will fetch more to the right person . std ones are now under £1k for high mileage ones these days .

  3. Ok Mark, my original one had the support bracket but sounds like you have a better one and I see yours doesn't have a take off for the secondary air pump which is good as I've deleted this. Can I offer you £100 collected?

    Hi Lee

    Will take that mate .

Funny as I did not know it was gona sell so fitted filter to my ST only yesterday lol. So will need to take it off again.....

  4. Hi Lee still have ABD cai if interested

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi lee I meant to say no these ABD Cai do not connect to gearbox. They route well away from there down the side of battery to the bumper. They have a bracket on the pipe to connect to the original stud on the inner wing where the original plastic tube is fixed that goes into std airbox. This is enough to keep MAF / tip and Cai secure.

    [emoji106]

The older kit did have a large bracket to connect MAF to gearbox but they were badly made brackets and caused bad bends in the tip and never allowed good fitting .

  5. The S2000 is far to big and it is the neck that makes the filter too long. Also as it is paper element I would not keep it there. The damp mist and dirt will kill that filter in no time buddy. Get a K&N filter. You can get universal ones that are smaller as long as the diameter fits your cai pipe you will be fine . Better to get a pre oiled filter like a K&N when filter is positioned down by bumper. As the light oil on these filters does a much better job at keeping the mist at bay but still lets air through.

  6. Whats next?

I Really fancy an A4 DTM but just can't justify spending the money right now.....

    I like them too.

Love the AUDI A4 shape. I was looking for a RS4 2.7bi turbo last year when you could get one for around the £10k mark. Now they have shot up to £14k+ so looking for a RS6 as next car .....

  7. Guys really appreciate the great responses. See this is why I am very fond of the Skoda forum. Never really had any issue or grievances with anybody . That's also why I put the effort into a group that I have kinda grown up learning with over the years. Like I say the time was just right. I did not sell coz I lost interest but better to sell when she is at her best tbh. Clive has taken over her and is looking after her well. I am not gona leave the forum as still love to support folks and help where I can. I have moved onto a 2007 bog std Ford Focus ST dare I say it, which is a stepping stone to get me to a AUDI RS6 or maybe RS4. Not in my price range just yet. The st is gona get my modding attention for a while. The VRS is far quicker and actually does a good job of spec and I do miss the climate control over the ST dials. Boy std is not nice. I will post the changes as I go even thought it is not a Skoda.

    Thanks again guys.

    I will be back

  10. Okay thanks :)

    Hi mate,

Sorry Lee alerted me to this thread.

I have some KW's V1's that are approx 2 years old in very good condition.

They retail at over £1k for these and are rated the best suspension by most tuning companies .

I am looking for £350 as i am going to look to sell my car.

They are already off the car

    if interested let me know.

I will be putting other tuning parts up for sale in the sale section too...

    Cheers...

  11. Hi,

Ive got the same Superpro 23mm bushes for when i get round to fitting a r32 farb, i noticed mine are solid (no split to snap them over the farb), are yours the same?.

Does this mean you have to slide them on from each end of the bar?.

When I replaced the std farb bushes (19mm) with Superpro ones, they did have a split on the lower half of the bush so you could snap them over the bar.

there should be a split in them, daft idea to expect to slide over each end of ARB. My 23mm bushes had split

  12. I tapped into the fuel pressure regulator as its one of the easiest to get to, top right of the fuel rail. Make sure the gauge you get does boost and vac as the vac reading is very helpful for noticing leaks as well. Stage one remap on mine and after s lot of replacement pipes it peaks at 20-21psi then drops as the revs climb. Vac at idle is just over 25" at hits the edge of the gauge sometimes on the overrun so nice and leak free

Tapping the Boost gauge to the FPR is not a good idea. The gauge and readings will get interference from the pulsing of the FPR.

Best to T into the DV line or a separate nipple on the Inlet Manifold ..

  13. Hello guys!

This is my first time ever posting on a forum and i decided to do it by making a tutorial on how to install the Milotec side vents in the front bumper of a mk1 octavia Vrs or octavia Gt. I know that you probably don't need a video to install them since it's pretty straight forward, and the instructions couldn't be more clear, but since I like to make videos I thought why not?

Well done buddy. Video's always help.

If you checked the guides you would of seen i did a Guide back in 2012 and added it to this section.....:)

    http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/233812-how-to-milotec-bumper-vents-fitting/

But great to see folks putting time back into the forum
