Hi all today I have removed my 3rd party tow bar from my octavia vrs 2021. Can anybody help with what I need to uncode? I think I've done everything apart from engine 01 driver assistance A5 Still getting a stop / start error

Good afternoon all my mk4 2.0 tdi has been suffering with no parking brake for a while now and after being sat at skoda for just under 2 months arguing too and throw about fault occurring 2 days out of warranty. I'm currently back to driving it with no parking brake. It's a dsg so has the option for Park but it's not really acceptable in my eyes and won't pass an mot. Skoda say they cannot find what's at fault and have been in contact with skoda technical. Who also can't seem to find the issue. The car has a 3rd party tow bar fitted but has been faultless for 1.5 years. When trying to do rear brake pad replacement the garage I used struggled to get any kind of response from a diagnostic tool to wind back the calipers. I then tried using obeleven having the same issues of unable to communicate with control unit. Eventually it connected and I managed to wind the brakes back. But resulting in a popping sound coming from fuse board / back of engine bay. To this day I have been unable to take them back out of service mode and so have skoda been unable too. They have not given me any direct fault finding other than a couple of times saying abs module / control unit failed. Can anybody help . ? Or give any advice for a repair in the Kent area

Hi yes it went into the dealership. Who after 4 days eventually found the fault to be lack of grease on the front shock absorbers, Their solution was to basically cover the shock ram (under the rubber shield) with grease that was apparently the fix given to them by the skoda factory So far so good 5k miles on it hasn't re appeared as yet

I've glossed over the cements on your post. Did you manage ro sort the issue with it being off ? I had this about 6months ago ended up needing a new airbag ecu/module Took over a month for them to repair

So my mk4 was towed to Gillingham skoda by skoda assist. In limp mode. After inspection they informed me that they jad found a burnt out abs / ebs / airbag module. Told me they are unable to get the parts from factory. So I've now had a 1.6 non turbo hyundai tucson from enterprise rental for 3 weeks and I've had enough of it now. Drinks so much fuel. Compared to my 2.0tdi. Where do I stand

Yes & no, Had the car 10 months now and all I've had is electrical issues. I love the car and the way it drives but the faults are never ending. And get worse the longer you own the car. Photo attached is just the faults I've had on this morning drive to work.

I'll be booking mine back in again. I'm fed up of the issues now.

Don't think it pops when car is off. But I've had my car 9moths done 15000 miles and my list of issues is huge. I love the car but totally regret trading in my mk3 for the mk4

My vrs went in last month for 3 days of updates. I had the sos pop before it went in. And now it's on the newest software it's even more frequent and knocks out my infotainment system. I even lost my digital speedo screen a few week back both screen completely blank. Skoda say there's no solution.

I phine Derby and gave them a piece of my mind. Awaiting a call from them tomorrow from the business manager. See what he has to say. For the sake of the cost of 3 badges surely they would just replace them.. and I'll be on my way

Who sorted your issue. Skoda uk or the dealership themselves. Skoda uk have shut this investigation.. and insisted I go to the motor ombudsman. I've tried calling Derby again and they are still not budging. My local dealership said they would rectify the issues if Derby authorised them to do so.. Business manager as Derby is inviting he will not be budging on rectifying the issues

I've taken it to another dealership who also refused to deal with issues raised. Saying I have to go to selling dealership..

Anybody had any dealings with skoda uk.. I put a complaint in about service received at the dealership I purchased the car. And a list of issues that the dealership have refused to rectify. Today had a phone call stating there's nothing skodauk can do.. and the franchised dealership (Bristol Street derby) have refused all responsibility of any issues I've raised. Various badges the paint is falling off. Acc has constant yellow warning triangles Headlights were out of alignment The dealership have ignored every single phone call and email I've sent since leaving the forecourt with the car on the 1st of March.

Doesn't suprise me. I was adding things to my mk3 that would've costed hundreds to add at a dealership

I've ran Michelin pilot sport 4 on my previous mk3 for over 90k miles no issues at all in all speeds or weather. I do 50 miles each way to work. Every day.

Exactly that! I don't run cheap tyres. But I can feel the difference between the ps4 and p7

Anybody know when obd11 will work / be compatible with the mk4 octavia?
