Skoda yeti alarm system.
Hi completely forgot about this. We are away camping right now lol So if I press the lock button twice within two seconds this disables the alarm and interior sensors? Much appreciated

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
With a decent map and good knowledgeable tuner you should see around 130/40bhp. Mine made 139 with a custom intake and just a cat back exhaust. If your not going down the 200 mark or hybrid, I'd definitely recommend getting one of more expensive intakes like mst or rtmg cold air. If you remapped on 99 you might be able to squeeze little more out 👍

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
Again.. Why are you messing around with a 1.4 turbo 🤔 Hybrid....!

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
Rmtg ea211 rs is available to be shipped all over the world. I currently have the Jbs hybrid set up so I can't fully advise on how good or bad the Rtmg ones are but I can 100% tell you, you won't have half the hassles you would trying to match up a 1.4 turbo to 1. 2 block

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
There's your mistake.... 1. 4 turbo 😬 This is exactly what I mean. Rather than messing around trying to fit parts that won't benefit the set up get a hybrid turbo that's been designed to work 😎 Your going the longest way around it all mate.

OK.. But why is it fluctuating so much? Not even the standard set up would do that. What's your set up?

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
Pointless unless you are looking to forge the 1.2 or 1.4 engine. I'm running over 200 with no HPFP on stock injectors, I personally wouldn't push the ea211 block anymore. If you want bigger power it's going down the route of engine swaps. Too many people ****ing around trying to bolt 1.4 turbos on and doing a mix match of parts 🤔 Just do it properly, nice hybrid turbo set up from Jbs or fit a Rtmg rs and get it properly mapped. These set ups along with decent downpipe, exhaust, intake and any other supporting mods is spot on for a quick 200bhp 1.2! Just some friendly advise and constructive feedback 👌

Skoda Yeti Paddleshift Retro-fit (pre & post-facelift)
You don't need to have a vrs one to have flatbottom. I used one from a suberb 2014 pq35. There's so many variables on buttons. You also need to code it in with vcds and make sure you have the same module

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
Mines mapped on 99. You definitely won't see 20bhp more from running higher grade fuel 😂 who the heck told you that?

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
I have a 2.5 inch exhaust with 2.75 inch downpipe and sports cat and I'm well over 200 😉 so you should make 200. First mod you should always do is the exhaust, it's a huge restriction! Speak to rich at JBS and he will see you right.

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
This is me lol The yeti went to jbs for a few days, I've used rich and jbs before. I went for the hybrid option rather than going with a second hand 1.4 set up. Its an absolute night and day difference and shows you want you can achieve with these engines. I probably could of had slightly more power if chasing numbers but I went for a sports cat to stay on the legal side. I paid £2100 and for me it's worth every penny. I have an evo 5 for my fun weekend car, I wanted more power for the yeti as a daily and it's absolutely rapid definitely suprised how quick it hits 140! 😂 If you own an EA211 I'd give up chasing the 1.4 idea and just go with the hybrid option. Best way to hit over 200 in my opinion! Would highly recommend JBS

Turbo Swap Choices for EA211 1.2 TSI
Hi not sure on whats available in the states but in Europe you can get the RTMG hybrid Ea211 rs turbo which is built for the 1.4. Its not a set up we can use on the 1.2 because the tunner would have to limit the power and that seems pointless for the money it costs around 1200 euros just for the turbo alone. I've been in contact with RTMG for a while who are great I run their cold air intake and bov, brilliant kit. https://r-tmg.co.uk/product/rtmg-hybrid-turbocharger-ea211rs-1-4tsi Hope this helps 👍

Skoda yeti alarm system.
Thanks for the information. We will be closing the tailgate on a night so they car will be locked. I basically want to lock the car and deactivate the alrsm so it doesn't go off with us moving in our sleep lol

Skoda yeti alarm system.
Thats interesting.. So aslong as you don't lock or unlock the car it won't reset and arm itself? If we need the toilet in the night we have to remember to press the button lol. Is it possible to remove the fuse?

Skoda yeti alarm system.

Skoda yeti alarm system.
Hi hope everyone is ok Me and my partner are converting the yeti to a mirco camper. We also have a tailgate awning. We have a bed which folds out inside the yeti and plan to sleep in the car using the tent for the living space. My question is.. The Alarm goes off when motion is detected inside the car, so what happens when I press the button on the B pillar? Would this disable the alarm until the car is unlocked again or is it timed and would it reset? Could I press the key twice from inside the car? The last thing we want is alarm going off in the middle of the night lol help required.

leisure battery
This is exactly what I'm now looking at. I was getting some quotes to have a leisure battery put in and its very expensive. I was Somthing I could of done myself but I'd be seriously cheesed off if I caused damage to anything else electrical. Thanks for all the information I've seen a power pack which is very much like you have described its around £500 but does everything and lasts 3-4 days off power. Only time will tell if it lasts that long. You can charge them when you are driving around aswell so that's a cool feature

leisure battery
Sorry guys when I say a fridge I mean a halfords cool box which kind of acts as a fridge 😊 We took one last year and ran it off a jump starter back but it died of power after the first day :(
-
leisure battery
Hi thanks for the reply Yes I'm just concerned it might cause havoc with the electrics. The split chargers you get are quite clever these days but I certainly don't want to damage anything. Transporters and caddys have them all the time which is a vag platform.

leisure battery
I was wondering if I could have some advise or help. I'm planning on doing alot of camping trips this year with our Yeti. We don't always book electricity hook ups on the sites and dome remote sites don't even have electricity. My thoughts are could I run an additional battery in the rear in a battery box with a split charge system. I want to power portable fridge, charge phones etc without worrying about the car battery going flat Would this impact the car atal or its electrical system? Much appreciated
