  1. My alloys also need a refurb. I'm torn between the Gloss Gunmetal and the Shadow Chrome. For my white shark
  2. No - the extreme alloys make it look that way 🙂
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong but your car should be free from issues/defects and you should have some form of warranty? I guess it depends on the person and how OCD they are about their car - I know I am! 😂
  4. I have used a nextbase 322GW for over 5 years with no issue. For the money it's well worth it and gives me peace of mind for when my car is parked.
  5. Hi Make sure you use a quality cable for android auto. I had connection issues in the past and found that the cheap cables were hopeless. also, just wondering if you have set up your driver profile in your car? Looks good though, once you get it fixed you will have no regrets 😁
  6. Thanks ULEZ this is my my new ride 😎
  7. Buy the car you really want. Nothing worse than driving along and seeing the car you should of bought....
  8. I had the 1.6 diesel and it was great in town for MPG and awesome on a run hitting 70MPG.
  9. I had same problem until I bought a quality cable. The cheap ones are hit and miss.
  10. I ordered a set for my MK3 FL VRS estate and they do not fit.....Double checked my REG with SKODA Parts and Accessories Online | SKODA Parts Ireland and they insist they do, basically calling me a liar. Not worth returning so now I have decided to pay the extra and get genuine parts from elsewhere.
  11. Ok, can confirm that is does fit. The facelift model doesn't have the clips and the runners for install but no drama as I can easily knock something up
  12. I had exactly the same issue, especially on dark gloomy damp November mornings. In the end the problem went away by itself, guess it could of been a build up of condensation. Hope yours is ok now.
  13. Hey all Thinking of buying a Mk3 VRS estate facelift. Does anyone know if the VBF from a MK3 estate (2014) pre facelift go straight into the newer model? 🤔 Thanks in advance
  14. Yeah i'm interested in the above, thought it was for non - VRS models though? Also like this - maybe a bit more subtle http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-III/Octavia-III-13-20-OEM-rear-bumper-diffusor-SPORTLINE
  15. That's strange! Sometimes I hear fuel sloshing around in my fuel tank but I just turn up the stereo
  16. I have a huge German Shepherd in the boot of my Octavia, no room for much else!
  17. Hi Ash She's a real cracker well done Welcome to the forums.
  18. Hi and Welcome Nice ride you have, put up some photos and make us all jealous haha Ouch that's rotten luck....
  19. Hi Claude and welcome, There is only one way the SD card can go into the slot so It really is easy to do. My Octavia Sat Nav SD card is in slot 1 and the corner that is angled goes in to the slot head first to the right side with the sticker facing upwards, push in until you hear a "click". There's no harm in trying and I'm sure it would work straight away, hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon to confirm. @Admins - can you kindly move this post to correct section please?
