Mine is booked in for next week. I’ve had it less that 2 months. It’s a 65 plate. It has several distinct rattles or buzzes on acceleration. If they can’t or won’t fix it i’ll get rid of it. I can’t listen to that.

Just called Bilstein. Uprated dampers for a MkIII Superb (non-4x4 or DCC) are £530 inc VAT and free delivery for 2 x front and 2 x rear. They are called ‘B6’.

Thinking of adding helper springs but worried they will raise the back end when not loaded/towing.

Also, what can I do to improve the current suspension? New, up-rated springs? I do not want to lower the car!

I have a FWD TDI 190 manual Superb. It has a detachable tow bar and 13 pin socket. My caravan is 1375Kg MYPLM. I have done quite a lot of towing but not yet with this car. Has anyone towed with a Superb without DCC? Is the suspension too soft? Thoughts?

Can I put a slightly ‘taller’ tyre on if I were to change all 4?

Drove 185 miles up the M5 from Plymouth to Droitwich the other day, averaging 59 mpg at 70 mph on cruise in 6th (1850 rpm).

I have a tdi 190 hatch in SEL Exec trim with 19” wheels. I like the look of the estates also but the hatch is easily big enough for me.

Can this be done? Anywhere near Southern Birmingham?

So, been and bought a good quality 32Gb mSD with adaptor. Just updating my laptop. Have an SD slot in the laptop. Do I format the card? FAT32?

I have the Columbus system according to the Skoda Portal via VIN no. My current map version is 2015/2016 but there is no SD card in either slot in the glove box but my sat nav works. Do I need to buy a Skoda branded SD card?

I am no Skoda expert but wanted to add that I am due to collect my car from a Skoda main dealer this weekend. It is a 65 plate 190ps TDi manual (non-4wd) SE L Exec with 63K miles and full Skoda SH. I have a 3 year warranty and it was under £11k. I will be using it to tow my 1375Kg MTPLM caravan.
