  1. Is 8755 the latest available firmware for Swimg in Fabia MkIII facelift? Skoda applied 8755 for me way back in late 2020 or early 2021 and no audio stutter since but I’ve been having trouble with CarPlay not using the car microphone during telephone calls. A quick google suggests I’m not alone but I haven’t found a solution yet.
  2. West Yorkshire. Sorted efficiently by D M Keith in Huddersfield.
  3. Work performed under warranty. No charge. Car was new to me last October and still in Skoda warranty as a 19 plate.
  4. Skoda dealer had my car for an hour in November and updated the software to the version shown in Rizzoed’s latest photo. 3 months down the line and I can confirm the issue is resolved. Why this needs a visit to a dealer and not a download and home install is another question...
  5. That sounds like good service @Alibayor88 . Which dealership sorted your car out for you please?
  6. Thanks for the information. That’ll really help me know exactly what I’m asking my dealership to update.
  7. I’m new here and this is my new (to me) Fabia III Monte Carlo 1.0 TSI 110. My previous car was a 2006 Ford Focus Estate 1.8 TDCI that I’d had for 11 years, so quite a change. Really enjoying the little Skoda and it’s the estate model so I can still get my bike in the boot easily. The only fly in the ointment is audio through Apple CarPlay stutters quite badly. If anyone’s experienced this and found a resolution then I’d be interested to learn how this was achieved. Thanks, Matt
  8. I’ve recently bought a 19 plate Fabia Monte Carlo and can also report this frustrating issue. I’ve experimented with 2 different iPhones, and 3 different lightning cables (1 original Apple cable and 2 aftermarket MFI cables). The problem is actually worse on an iPhone 11 with iOS 14.1 than on my iPhone 5S with iOS 12.4.8. I’ve deleted the car from CarPlay on the phone, reset the Smartlink settings to factory on the car head unit, and reestablished the CarPlay connection, all to no avail. I’ve entered my VIN at https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com and it says there’s no software update available for the Swing head unit in my car so I’m really interested to learn more about the software version referred to by @Rizzoed. I’ve contacted the dealer that sold me the car in October to see if they can offer any help. Fingers crossed as they’ve been very good so far resolving another minor issue rather than fobbing me off as is far too common. My software versions match those photographed earlier in the thread so it’d be interesting to know if there’s a later version otherwise CarPlay is practically unusable for audio playback.
