We have a 2020 Skoda Monte Carlo 1.5L TSI which has done around 11,000kms. The last 2 or 3000kms i have noticed a slight shudder under low rpm from which appears to be the gearbox. I have noticed in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. Its a very faint shudder and then it goes smooth again. Anyone else experienced this?

Does anyone know much about the TPMS in the Kamiq? Apparently TPMS uses the ABS sensors to monitor the rolling radius of each wheel. What I want to know is how sensitive is this system - will it tell me if a tire drops in pressure by 1psi? Or will it only tell me if there is a major drop like 10psi or a blow out? I don't really see the point of the system if i have to check tire pressure manually every week. Thanks

You will need Android 11 for it to work correctly - i have a oneplus 6 on Android 10 and AA doesn't work correctly

I have purchased a dash-cam (Viofo A129 duo) and was looking to pair it with the BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery Pack (B-124X). I was wanting to utilize the parking mode feature without draining the cars battery, hence the battery power pack. Does anyone have a dash cam installed (with/without battery pack) and able to share their setup/install instructions? Thanks

It has its uses but can be annoying at times. Driving down a narrow country lane here in NZ it went mental so had to turn it off. Too bad the car didn't remember I had switched it off the next time I drove it.

Hi all, We have a Kamiq Monte Carlo that came with the "Driving mode selection with adaptable (-15mm) suspension" feature. Is this feature available in the uk models and if so has anyone actually tested it? Thanks

Yes 5 year mechanical warranty here in NZ - if buying new ask the dealer to throw in 5 years free servicing too

Just to confirm, is the speed sign that is shown on the Amundsen (and virtual cockpit) picked up the by the cars camera or is it just using what's coded into the GPS?

Kamiq Monte Carlo's built post August 2020 do not come with the removeable boot torch - this is due to Skoda cost cutting.

I finally got Wireless Android Auto working on my OnePlus 6 running Android 10 in our Monte Carlo. All i did was enable developer settings and it seemed to pick my phone up from then on using wireless. I also made Sure that "Wireless Android Auto" was enabled by going to Settings > Apps and notifications > Android Auto > Advanced > Additional settings in the app then enable the setting under "System" heading.

Or Kamiq Monte Carlo arrived two days ago here in New Zealand - Our car due to it being built after August, has the 2021 wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto and the 2021 steering wheel (with chrome dials etc) We have found out that wireless android auto only works with Android version 11 onwards. Wireless Apple carplay works with any iphone.
