I'm sure this has probably been answered somewhere on this forum but I can't find and the manual is less than helpful. How do I set both side mirrors to dip when I reverse and can I set the angle which they dip to? I thought it was just a case of making sure the mirrors were in the R position and when I go into reverse it would do it automatically? Secondly is there a way to turn off the parking alarms that chime when the car is first started or at least turn them down?! Thanks in advance

Just had an update from the dealer..... Ordered Wk 21 Build Wk 41 Delivery scheduled Wk 45 6 months of waiting nearly at an end............ Phew - so close I can ALMOST touch it - but apparently it takes 4 days to clean!!!!!

When should I expect these? How quickly did others receive their M&S vouchers from SUK? After delivery or before? Ordered Wk21 and confirmed BW 41 but still no sign of the car or the compensation.... Just curious how others have faired really.

Around 4 wks later..... Wk 1 2011 would be a fair guesstimate but depends if it gets held up in Germany etc. Mine was BW confirmed 41 and I still have no indication from the dealer (who is next to useless) where the car is.

Build week 41 but ordered wk 21 with delivery HOPEFULLY week 45 Dealer says I can have the vouchers or a hire car whilst waiting as goodwill gesture and not accessories.....:( 24 wks to build and ship a car - OUCH!

Can relate to the envy! Ordered mine 25th May and allegedly being built as I type..... the build week tho apparently means it can start being built anytime 8am Mon - 5pm Fri so hopefully I caught some luck and got a Monday build...

If they offer you a loan car don't forget they are obliged to offer you vouchers instead.

As a follow- up I asked my dealer and received this reply - which I wouldn't have known about if David hadn't posted. The loan car of a 1.2 fabia is less than appealing but I can see someone here nabbing the vouchers!

Cannot fathom how my car ordered May 25th still isn't being built until Wk 41?!!!!!? :'( :wonder:

I actually used an agent from ChipsAway and was charged £50 each for a set of alloys on my old Octy but I hear very good things about Wicked Wheels. The snow last winter didn't help my wheels or my driving ;-)
